"Are you ready Eri?" Sollux asks, trying out his new nickname for his boyfriend.
"I suppose I am" responds Eridan, giddy to meet the two girls he's heard so much about. Sollux holds the car door open for Eridan, smiling wide.
A not so long car ride later they arrive at the small apartment of Roxy and Jane. Roxy immediately runs out to greet the guys.
"Ayyyyyyyyyyy everybody!!" She grins, hugging Sollux with a drink in hand.
Jane just gives a small smile.
"She's had a long day" referring to the drink in her hand which obviously wasn't the first she'd had.
Roxy is a young "barely legal" kind of girl, while she was of age for drinking, she looked young and acted it. She' a party-er. Jane is her rock, she's a southern home cooked dinner girl.
The boys were invited inside for dinner, Roxy making the best drinks, even her non-alcoholics, and Jane making the meals.
"Tonight I made lasagna, and Apple pie for dessert!" Roxy grinned,
"I helped with the pie!"
"Yes you did Roxy, and you did a fine job." Jane kisses Roxy's cheek.
Dinner was spectacular, as expected, and Roxy and Jane were very happy, also expected. Roxy shed some happy tears, as did Jane. It was a typical and nice dinner. Roxy and Jane are great to be around just because of the fact that they are constant, nothing crazy and unexpected. The boys think thoughts like these on the car ride home.
"That was a fun dinner!" Eridan says happily.
"I'm happy you like Roxy and Jane" Sollux grins.
As soon as the boys get home they go straight to bed, that much fun is awful tiring.
