Positive. All positive. No faint lines. Clear as day. Definitely pregnant. Kym had so many emotions running through her but she couldn't stop staring at the tests. She pinched herself a few times before she realized it was real. She is pregnant, and Robert, the love of her life, is the father. So many thoughts ran through her head, too many to make sense of anything. A sudden happiness rippled through her body and she burst into tears of joy. She turned to the bathroom door as if she was staring at Robert, who was sleeping in the next room. She wiped her eyes. It took her a few minutes to realize what day it was. It was Father's Day.

Kym grabbed her phone and called and texted Cheryl, but to no avail, there was no answer, so she put her phone down. She picked up the pregnancy tests and put them in their hidden secret place. She picked up her phone and headed back to bed. She walked in the bedroom and quietly climbed into bed, hoping to not wake Robert.

"You okay Kymmie?" Robert asked as he turned around and faced Kym, rubbing his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just went to get a drink of water." She moved closer to Robert and they both fell back asleep, in each other's arms.

A few hours later Kym woke up. She turned and noticed Robert wasn't there. He must be making breakfast, she thought to herself. She sat up, rubbed her eyes, and stretched. She got up and walked to the kitchen to see if Robert was there, but he wasn't. Where is, she started thinking as she found a note on the kitchen counter.

Turns out they needed me to come in today. I'll be home later tonight. Sorry about our plans baby. I'll make it up to you, I promise. I made you some breakfast. Enjoy and I hope you have an amazing day. See you later tonight. I love you Kymmie.

Love, Robert

Kym smiled at the note and looked over at the delicious breakfast Robert had prepared for her: gluten free banana pancakes, topped with strawberries, she had taught him how to make, eggs, whole wheat toast, and a glass of orange juice.

"He must have just left." Kym said as she noticed her food was still warm. She brought her breakfast in the dining room. Before she could sit down she heard her phone ringing from the bedroom. She power walked to the bedroom and saw it was Cheryl and answered it.

"What did the tests say?" Cheryl asked before Kym could say anything.

"Well good morning to you too. Come over?"

"Don't you and Robert have plans?"

"He had to go into work today. He won't be home until later tonight."

"Okay. I'll get ready and be over in a little bit." Kym hung up and returned to her breakfast.

Forty five minutes later Cheryl walked in the door. She put her purse on the love seat and looked around for Kym.

"Kym? I'm here." Kym walked down the hall drying her hair with a towel and greeted her best friend with a hug.

"Thank you for coming over."

"Of course. So what's up. what happened? Tell me everything!" They sat down on the couch. Kym sighed.

"Okay so I woke up this morning, to take the tests, and I was so nervous. Just standing there and waiting for not even five minutes seemed like hours. I almost lost it."

"Sounds like you weren't a patient person. What did the tests say?" Kym laughed and remembered back to the week four rehearsal with Robert.

Kym: I feel like I'm, I feel like I'm, I'm, I'm a very, I'm a very understanding patient person. I've realized that.
