First POV

The heart, a battlefield of emotions, wages war . Last night's conversation with Khao has left me reeling, and now my turn to Book, seeking clarity amidst the chaos. The kiss, a betrayal that stings like a fresh wound, still throbs with pain. Yet, the devastation in Khao's eyes, his plea for my understanding, cuts deeper.
Love, a powerful force, compels me to forgive, even when my  mind resists. The depth of my affection for Khao is both a solace and a source of fear.

_ _ _

The kiss has caused a rift between us, and despite my desire to move on, I'm unable to forget it. Khao is making an effort to communicate, but me...chosen silence, responding only when necessary.

Upon arriving at the university, we both walk side by side without speaking. Khao's glances go unnoticed.

Khao calls out to me
First,._
, and i turn, then...Book interrupts..he runs towards us panting heavily asking
Khao why don't you answer my calls n messages...He asked
ignoring my presence. Khao looks at me while my gaze is fixed on Book, filled with anger.

Im getting late for the class...i leave
I spared a glance for Khao before heading out. 'meet u at the cafeteria in the noon?' I added, and he responded with a slow, approving smile. I turned my attention back to book. 'Care to join us?' I asked, forcing a smile. He looked puzzled but agreed, nodding and saying, 'Sounds good, First.'"

-----

"As we lunched, it was evident that Book was displeased with me. I, however, maintained a calm, seemingly unaffected demeanor. Khao, positioned beside me, consistently transferred portions of his meal onto my plate. book's jaw visibly clenched as Khao tenderly wiped sauce from the corner of my lip, then licked it away. I couldn't suppress a smile.

'First,' book called me, and I shot him a glare. He immediately offered an apology: 'I'm sorry for the chaos we stirred up last night.'

'Book?' Khao frowned, his brow furrowing..." Why now...?

"Wait, Khao...
I kissed you... Damn, I was a terrible friend. How could I do that? I'm your friend, but last night... He feigned tears, and I rolled my eyes. I had to admit, Book was a phenomenal actor.

Khao's expression softened... 'Book, calm down. We were both intoxicated, and we kissed. It's not entirely your fault...it's my fault too and First and i already talked about it. We are fine now...khao explain but something changed in book expression.

Oh" the word escape from his mouth...he glare at me,

'But... but...' he stammered, wiping away his fake tears. 'I know... First might misinterpret my actions... I want to clarify that there's nothing between us. I'm terrified that that damned video could damage your relationship with First.

"Don't worry, Book," I said, a smile plastered on my face, though my eyes betrayed a different story, a silent scream he was sure to sense. "U really think that damn video's going to tear us apart?" The smile on his face faltered, disappearing like a wisp of smoke.

"No... so, you don't need to worry. Khao already explained everything." I exhale....

"Yes... it hurts."

"Even though it hurts, there's no way I'll leave him."

"That's good," Book murmured, forcing a smile that failed to reach his eyes.

At night...

Sleep had claimed me, the stillness of my bedroom broken only by the rhythmic tick of the clock. Then, a sound, a soft tapping against the window, jolted me awake. Moonlight spilled across the room, illuminating the balcony outside. It was almost midnight, and the house was silent, everyone else lost in slumber.
