6am Thursday morning
The sound of the alarm wakes me. Kayleb Milgate. Yawning, i get out of bed to get changed into my school uniform. Making a bowl of cereal, i slump myself down on the couch. I sigh, as i thinks about the day ahead of me. "Stolen money sounds is probably the worst that can happen on today's schedule" i mutters to himself. I knew I would be treated like crap again today. It's like that every day for me. Most people at school think of me as a freak. "Just because I know how we are all going to die" i think to myself as i make my way to the bus stop.

The bus ride is long and boring. When he gets to school he meets up with his only few friends, mostly rugby players. They greet him as he joins the conversation. "What have we got first period?" Jack asks. Jacks weird. He's muscly and plays rugby with the other boys, but would rather sit inside and play games on his computer. "I think we got a double of sport" Zac replies to Jack. Zac's a big jock. He is a big, greek rugby player who loves to be outside. He's really funny too. "Sick!" Michael yells out, giving the thumbs up. He loves his sports, and he's good at nearly anything. Soccer, rugby, martial arts, you name it, he'll do it. Shawn and Mitchell are sitting on their phone, laughing. I roll my eyes. Finally the bell goes. We start walking back to class, talking and making jokes among the group, and chatting with some of the girls. Well I guess not everyone thinks of me as a weirdo. "Hey dickhead!" God dammit, I spoke too soon. That's Frank, thinks he a literal king. He roams around the school with his pose of retards, most of which are nerds. I just laugh and give him the finger. Our group is all in the same class anyway, so we all walk over to the same room.

We take our seats in class. I sit with the boys, and we start laughing a bit at some stupid memes on jacks phone. I pull a sneaky little move, and look over at Samantha. She's probably the cutest kid in the whole grade. Beautiful, golden hair, lovely smile, hilarious. And It just so happens I have a small crush on her. She looks back at me, and gives me a cute little smile with a wave. I blush. Jeez, now I probably look as red as a firetruck. She giggles a little. Suddenly the teacher enters the room. Huh, so we did have sports. "Mornin' class!" Mr Lara greets us as he puts his things on the desk. He reply back with a simple good morning too. "So today we will have a whole lesson of Prac" he says excitedly. I grin. "Today we will be having a class game of....." I love my sports. I'm great at them too. I enjoy stuff like soccer, rugby, fighting, Gaelic football, rugby union. Just as long as he doesn't say..... "Basketball!" Oh great. I'm like the shortest kid in the class and he expects me to play basketball. I couldn't shoot a hoop if my life depended on it. "For warm ups, you will need a partner, so start picking now so we don't waste time when we are on the courts" Mr Lara explains. Chatter starts across the classroom. Michael with jack, Zac and Mitchell. "Shawn!" I yell across at him. Shawn is still sitting on his phone laughing maniacally at some vines on Instagram. "SHAWN!" I yell at him again, but he ignores me. I reach into my bag and pull out my eraser. I pelt it across the table directly at his head. "Oh my god, WHAT??" Shawn replies. Finally. "Took you long enough" I laugh at him. "What do you want?" he says, but keeps his eyes on his phone. "Me and you for warm ups?" I ask. "Yeah ok" he replies "did you really have to through an eraser at me though" I laugh. He shakes his head at me, smiles, and starts scrolling though his phone again. Mr Lara finally marks the roll and then tells us to make our way to the courts. When I try leave the room, Frank shoves me out of the way "out of my way dweeb!" he spits at me. "Shove a sock in it Frank" I eye him. He looks at me and twitches his nose. Then he turns around and walks with Miranda, his girlfriend. Sometimes I wonder, what does she see in him? I just shrug it off and keep walking down the path to the court.
