ARTHUR LEYWIN
"What did you just say?" Did I hear him clearly, did he just say that Elijah doesn't exist?
"Elijah Knight, the so-called best friend, doesn't exist, Arthur." Aldir repeated.
'W-what?' This changes a lot of things, Nico didn't come here to Dicathen? Then how will the Legacy, the bridge form if he didn't come here? Does that mean the Legacy will cease to exist—Tessia will remain safe here in Dicathen?
Then what exactly is the purpose of this war? For Agrona to reign over here and breed with the lessers here too? What is his goal now then? Maybe Nico still exists, but in a way that Agrona didn't send him here.
But then again, Agrona won't reincarnate both of us if he didn't intend to bring the Legacy in this world? Fuck now I am back to square one, back to before where I didn't know his goal, I am back to being blind once again.
My advantage against him, the only advantage I had to turn this war over, now it's gone. Tessia is not their target anymore then, it's all of us now.
"I see." I sighed and glanced towards Sylvie's direction. I hid all of my thoughts to her, not wanting to overwhelm her. For now, I need to train before surfacing back, I will reach the integration stage before returning.
"Thanks for the help, Aldir. I appreciate it, now that I can't train in the relictombs, is there any chance for you Aldir to get an aether orb in Epheotus?" I asked.
"Your request won't be hard to do, the next time I return here I will have it," Aldir answered. I nodded and turned to Mordain.
"As you can see, I tried my best training Chul, if I estimate his strength, I think he can take on a Scythe alone. I'd say somewhere between Seris or Cadell," I stated.
"I am thankful for that Arthur," Mordain smiled.
"Well, if you are thankful, I need to stay here for a year or two, I will reach the integration stage before joining the war."
Mordain just nodded, "Take all the time you need, at least there will be 3 of you joining this war, the 3 of you will be a great help."
"Three?" I furrowed my brow. Mordain pointed towards Chul who was now sleeping on the table. I sighed lazily and shook my head.
'Oh, now at the mention of a companion, there is someone I need from Epheotus once again. It's time to bring him back.'
"And Aldir, help me get an acclorite from Wren."
"In that, I will try to get it."
"Thanks."
With that we ended the meeting, Aldir went on his way and returned to the surface, while Sylvie and I went to the house she's been residing in.
In our walk, I met a familiar girl running and bumping into me. I looked down and saw Ra, massaging her forehead, tears were forming on the edge of her eyes. "Is that you, Ra?" I asked and knelt down.
Ra looked up and met my eyes, "Oh! It's you big sister!" She pointed and grinned, the tears around her eyes magically disappeared.
'Pfft.' Sylvie chuckled.
"I am not a big sister though," I sighed acting hurt.
"But you are though! Look at your hair, your eyes, even your skin. It's so girly!" Ra shouted, I chuckled in response.
"Ra! What did I say about talking to strangers!" A person scolded from behind, I got up from my position, and saw the same woman back then. We met eyes and she gave me an apologetic gaze, I stared in awe and smiled at her way.
