HONEY SAMUELS

I look up at the clock, it's 8 a.m.

Oh my God! Oh my God!

Brandon's flight will land by 9:15. I can't get my heart to calm down. Finally, after a long wait, I'll be with my Brandon.

I squeal and do a little dance as I dry myself and wear my white dress which is Brandon's favourite.

I ditch the idea of wearing my white heels and wear my black and white flat knee length boots instead.

I apply no makeup, just some lip balm, and brush my hair to a dry and bouncy straight state.

I put on both the rings, my watch and my engagement necklace and check if everything's in my black sling bag or not.

Once ready, I rush downstairs to see Hen, Audrey and Pearl waiting for me in the living room.

I kiss my mom goodbye and practically run out and jump into the car.

"Woah woah woah slow down Hon!" Hen chuckles as she gets in with me.

Pearl sits on my other side chuckling too and Audrey gets into the front with Gordon, Brandon's driver who is driving us to the airport.

Sitting in the car, I sigh as the nagging feeling comes back to me. Something was wrong. The last 4 to 5 days Brandon seemed... a bit off. He would talk less, he would seem nervous and would always seem distracted.

Hopefully everything's alright.

I was brought out of my thoughts when my vision fell on the airport and a big grin split my mouth.

Yayyy!!

Once our car was parked, we were taken to the V.I.P. waiting lounge through the lift.

After waiting for a while, Mike and Sky entered too, looking all corporate in their suits. I kept looking at my watch.

9:05 a.m.

BRANDON TATE

My jet landed. Ryan is busy getting our luggage.

The tingling feeling in my stomach just won't go, I know I made Honey sad during the last few days by my disinterested reactions in our conversations, but in reality I'm just nervous to break the whole vampire news to her.

But my heart won't stop pounding. I'm so damn excited to meet my princess.

It's taking everything in me to not run to the V.I.P. lounge like a madman where I'm sure my princess is waiting for me.

I need to get my shit together and act like a freaking responsible businessman who has just returned from a long corporate trip.

Once Ryan has all the luggage, I tell him to send them to my place, while I walk towards the VIP lounge.

I am one floor above the lounge and you can actually see the lounge below through the vast tinted glass wall.

I see Mike and Henry laughing on something that Sky said. I can also see Audrey standing beside them trying hard to control her laughter, but her eyes are trained on someone, when I follow her sight, my heart starts beating frantically fast.

It's my princess!

She looks so happy as she walks in with Pearl, back to where everyone was, and does a little jump, not able to control her excitement.
