"What are we doing for dinner?", Lilly said groaning from where she was laying on her stomach writing. Emery shrugged, she'd just walked in the door from the film office and was kicking off her shoes. "Ugh. I'm hungry. You know you've been busy with company all week..we haven't had dinner together since tour."

Emery put her shoes in her room and slipped on a pair of running shorts which were far more comfortable than her jeans. Walking in barefoot she sat beside her best friend and room mate. "I'm not cooking. How's Chinese?"

Lilly nodded, "Sounds good get pork fried rice...oh and orange chicken." Em sat and dialed the restaurant.

"Oh. It's here!" Lilly said getting up to answer the door and bring the food inside. She set the bags on the counter and went to go hand Em her box and chopsticks. They sat on the couch devouring their food. Emery ended up turning on the TV and flipping through the channels before landing on one of those celebrity news channels. "I don't know how you can stand these shows. Who cares about a bunch of celebrities." Emery said through a mouthful of teriyaki chicken, "You do when it's him." Lilly was busy picking away at her food, she furrowed her brow in curiosity and confusion as she looked up to the glowing television screen to see the All Time Low symbol which faded into an image of the band and an image of Alex walking Sebastion, his dog, down the street. The irritatingly high pitched woman's voice said, "All Time Low's front man Alex Gaskarth has been spotted outside his home in Baltimore and rumor has it everyone's favorite brunette musician has broken it off with the mysterious girlfriend who joined him on his most recent tour."

Lilly groaned, "Turn it off.", and Emery nodded and shut off the TV.

Emery sat back, "Have you even talked to him?" she asked curiously.

Lilly shrugged, "We broke up, we're done it's over and I'm not talking to him. I don't care."

Emery nodded, "You're really over it?"

She shrugged, "I never said I was over it, besides you have no room to talk. You've been avoiding his calls."

The girls both sighed and sat back on the couch. After a moment Emery sat up and said "Fine. Next time he calls I will answer. But you and I both know that you and Alex soo not over."

Lilly rolled her eyes and sat back. "Yeah, whatever."

Emery ended up leaving early the next day, there was some work emergency while they were in the middle of setting up a second office in London. With Emery off in London, Lilly was left alone in the Los Angeles apartment. She blasted music all day and night, running around in her underwear drinking and writing. She was happily isolated from everyone else, it wasn't until two AM that her phone rang. She picked up without checking to see who it was, "Hello." there was a long silence, "Listen if you're going to call and say nothing don't waste my time I've got whiskey and The Rolling Stones on." , she said with a drunken laugh. They hung up on her without a word. When she looked down at her phone screen at the top of most recent calls list. At the top of the list was a single name. Her stomach was in knots and her heart was racing.

ALEX

Two hours passed, she was starring at her phone screen before she hit the 'call back' button. He didn't pick up until the last ring and on the other end of the phone he was silent. "Lexy? I miss you."

After a moment he said, "I miss you too."

The silence ensued and they sat there listening to the sounds of each other's breaths before they both started saying something causing an awkward pause.

"I'm sorry. I love you Lexy."

"Come to Baltimore, spend the week with me and come back to tour. Please.", he pleaded.
