Hiechou

An Unexpected Turn

During the expedition we lose Petra, Eld, Günter, and Auruo. They were just here this morning, perfectly healthy too. Now they're gone, leaving Levi and myself the only survivors from his squad.

We returned to the castle Levi didn't say a word the whole time. Arriving at the castle, Levi went straight to his room in silence. Maybe I should go check on him. I started to walk down the hallway then I stopped. I should just leave him alone he'd probably like to be left alone. No he's not most of his squad just died. I tapped on the door and didn't here a sound. So I opened the door. Hiechou was laying on his side in the bed facing the wall. "Are you ok?"

He sat up tears fell from his eye "Get out Jäeger, I'm fine." "No you're not you just lost your squad." I said firmly. He stood up and grabbded my shoulder firmly "Just go to bed brat, its been a long day." He said calmy looking into my eyes it gave me a sense of security, but I didn't believe was ok. I didn't say anything back I just stared into his eye. Levi patted my back, but our gaze never ended. Until he spoke and realsed my shoulder and looked at his feet "Good night Jäeger," he said looking back up at me. "Good night Hiechou," I said smiling and I walked outside of the room not realizing the words that came out of my mouth, "I love you"

I flopped down on my bed and covered my eyes with my hands. No he didn't hear what I said could he. I know he did, shit, this is the worst thing that could've ever happened. I sighed and sat up remembering that Heichou needed to lock me in the dungeon.

Levi's P.O.V.

I walked back into my room and sat on the bed. He really said 'I love you.' Does this brat realized how much trouble I could get into if the wrong person heard him. Homosexuality is one of the most major crimes with in the walls, but I've had feelings for the titan boy. Ever since I saved him and his Musketeers from that titan. I can just ignore it like I've been doing ever since we met. It gets harder and harder everyday.

I glanced over to the door Eren was standing there scratching the back of his neck. "Yes Jäeger?" I raised my brow. "Don't you need to um lock me in the dungeon tonight?" I looked at him standing there awkwardly "No, sleep on the floor in here no one else is here. If you turn into a titan I'll just simply deal with you myself," I shrugged.

Eren nodded and and grabbed a few blankets from the hall closet. I laid in my bed waiting for the titan boy to come back. He eventually came back and made a pallet on the floor. About ten minutes later Eren fell asleep. Then after I while I dozed off.

Eren's P.O.V

My eyes popped open to see the ceiling then I felt arms around me and someone breathing on my chest. I looked down to see Levi, my heart started racing again and felt my face get bright red. Is this another dream? I think it is, but I'm gonna make sure. I pinched myself hard almost the point of drawing blood. I exclaimed "Ow!" I drew my hand back and sat up.

Levi shot straight up and screamed, "Brat, what the hell are you doing in my bed." He then pushed me out of the bed.I sat up on the floor and rubbed my head, "I don't know I woke up and you were cuddling me." He then stood up pointing at me and raised his voice, "Jäeger do you want both of us to go to jail? Do you have any idea how big of a crime being gay is? I could loose my job or both of us could be executed. I don't want either of us to die!" I stood up, "Are you trying to tell me that you care about me?"

I didn't even hear anything else except that he said 'I don't want either of us to die.' He looked down at his feet, his angry mood slowly faded away into a calm mellow one. He didn't yell or raise his voice, but he was still staring at his feet trying to avoid eye contact. Before, speaking he took a deep breathe, "Eren this can't happen we can't get involved. "
