Chspter 9: The Heart Break

Reader's POV

Guren was holding Yu's ankle tightly, easily forgeting abaut me. I grinned as the wind hit my face the feeling of it was just amazing. Guren turned his head to see my foot colide with his cheek. Grinning I pushed away from himnand attacked his legs. Grabbing one I half spinned and realised. His eyes wided as he crashed on the floor. That'll teach you, don't mess with Yu. "Fine you win, (y/n)." He said wipping the blood away with his sleave. Slowly making his way towards us he started talking to Yu. I found myself staring at him. Am I the only one that thinks he looks like a girl? He'd make a pretty girl.

"OK, let's make a contract with a demon." That snapped me out of my trance. "That's not safe!" I burst out. "What? Little (Y/N)'s scared for the idiot?" Guren asked playfuly. My face goes tomato red and hot, "N-No!" I quickly turn around to prevent Yu to see it. "I'll let you fight in front lines too." My eyes felt like they're gonna poped out any second but I staid calm. I swear if he gets hurt. "But it will be yozr fault if you die." Guren said with a smug smirk. "He's not gonna." I stared coldly into his purple eyes. "No way in hell that I'll let him."

"Congradulations on the contract with the demon. He approved it right?" Shiona said while getting up and walking to him. Next thing I know she was hugging him. That's it! I'll tell him! I'll tell him how I feel abaut him! Shiona saw my eye twich and guickly let go, "Don't worry." She smiled at him.

"Y-Yeah! Finaly I can kill those blood suckers." Yu said clenching his fist and smiling brightly.

I put my hand on my chest and looked down as he said that. It hurt...

Time Skip

"This result will effect the Cursed Gear rank you'll be receiving." Said the teach. After she handed them out I happily grinned as I got another perfect one. I looked at Yu trying to hide his test from Shiona. I quickly took the paper and ran away from him. He bolted st me, easily dodging it he hit the wall. I gave her his test but he caught her quickly. But the paper wasn't in her hands, it was on some guy's.

"That is amazing! All answers are written in hiragana."

As he was angrily walking towards Shiona I noticed that a pink letter fell out of his pocket. My heart stopped as I saw a heart that had 'Shiona' written in it. My vision became blurry as I tried to keep my tears in. He wanted to give this to her?
