Bad feeling

There were a lot of murmurs across the room. So they had succeeded heh? It faster that I thought. Amaya should feel relieved the plan had finished, but she wasn't. Something wrong, she could feel it in her gut.

She didn't pay attention anymore to it. Her eyes glued to the monitor. Slowly but sure, the investigator had taken three quarter the building. Aogiri seemed to have difficulties dealing with the CCG. They had large number more than expected.

She couldn't find neither ayato nor rei. Where are they? It pissing her off. What if Ayato get caught? What if Ayato died? What if Rei found by Aogiri cruel monster? What if he found by Yamori?

Cih, too much assumption. I cant think like this.

But the question kept filling her mind like flood.

Relax, both of them are a good fighter. They'll be okay.

A second felt like hours while her heart struggling to beat slower. The CCG had taken over all the building. For a split second, she saw a group of people ran toward the forest. The cheers around the room were loud and it couldn't lift her mood up. She still felt anxious. She needed to see their face!

It took around 1 hour -the most tortured one hour she had ever felt- to the investigators back to the HQ. Amaya had been waiting in the door with other people. When the vans arrived, her eyes quickly examine the crowd. But she couldn't find Rei, not anywhere. Then an ambulance passed by, the sirine so loud it hurt her ears.

Amaya dropped to her knee. She hold her head with both of her hands. She bit down her bottom lip. Inhale, exhale. Inhale, exhale. Inhale, exhale. calm down, calm down.

"Hey, are you okay?" A concerned voice heard.

Amaya lift her head up, and saw Rei grinning to her. She stared at him, eyes wide like he was the sunshine after the storm. Then, she jumped and put her arm around his neck. Rei quickly recovered and hold her back.

"Whoa whoa.. what's wrong Amaya?"

Amaya shook her head. "You're okay.." she mumbled softly.Rei didn't know it was a question or not. But he nodded anyway.

"Yeaa~ of course I am!" He pulled from the hug and grinning from ear to ear. Amaya just smiled looking at him. Not long after that, a grumbled voice heard from his stomach.

"Hee, I'm hungry..." Rei pouted while rubbing his stomach. Amaya just giggled. She suprised when a hand hold hers tight.

"Come on!lets find something to eat!Then I tell you the story~" Rei tugged her along the way.

Well, at least the plan had succeeded. Rei was okay, and I wish Ayato-nee too. Just face whatever it is, when I got back home. She tought to herself.
