Kabanata 40

Sinalubong kami ni Mama pagdating ng bahay. She looked at me, and then to Leo.

Leo's hand went to his stomach as an attempt to cover his body. Bigla niya siguro narealize na wala siyang pantaas at kaharap namin ngayon si Mama.

"Magpahinga muna kayo sandali bago maligo." Bilin ni Mama bago pumasok sa kanyang kwarto.

"Nandoon na yata sa kwarto ni Carlo yung bag mo." I told him.

I glanced at Leonel as we went to Carlo's room. Nahagip ng paningin ko ang hubad niyang katawan.

I already saw his teenage body years ago, but his body now is just too much for a sight. With his broad shoulders and sculpted looking abs, he looks like he stepped straight out of a billboard or magazine.

I tried my best to avoid looking at it. I opened the door and switched the light on and then saw his bag that was placed on the bed. Leonel closed the door.

Instinctively, I walked towards the bed and opened his bag. I quickly realized what I have done. Binitawan ko yung bag niya at nagbigay daan sa kanya.

"Sorry.. kanina ko pa kasi gustong gusto magbihis ka. K-Kaya nabuksan ko agad ang bag mo."

"What? You can open it. You can mess with my things. You're allowed to do anything, Coli."

Umiling ako. Lumapit siya sa akin. My eyes gazed at his body again. He pushed his bag closer to my direction.

"Choose for me, please." Malambing niyang suyo.

Suminghap ako at nahihiyang tumango, may maliit na ngiti sa labi. I know it's shallow but I got really excited. Doing this kind of little things for him feels like a chance to make him feel my love for him. I know I'm not vocal, and that's something I really want to work on.

Kanina naiyak siya nang sabihin kong siya lang ang mahal ko. I knew it meant so much for him to hear those words from me. I swore to myself I'll make sure he hears and feels it everyday.

I already have my answer to my questions yesterday. Ano man ang maging takbo ng usapan namin tungkol sa mga nangyari sa nakaraan, I will heal and forgive myself to be able to love him fully and more freely. If I think I'm not deserving enough for him, then I'll make myself deserving. I can't see my future without Leonel. I want him to be there, and I want to be in his.

I started picking up his clothes inside. I'm looking for a yellow shirt because that's the debut motif. I smiled widely when I saw one. It's not exactly yellow, it's more of a tan yellow.

Ngunit bago ko pa man tuluyang mailabas ang damit, hinila na ako ni Leonel at siniil ng halik.

Napapikit ako. His hand was firm on my jaw while the other hugged my waist, pressing my body to his. My hand clutched on his shoulder when I felt his tongue gliding on my lips. I have zero skills on kissing, my lips simply followed the rhythm of his, all I knew was that I wanted to kiss him back.
