"Hey!" She yelled, speed walking towards me. "You're new aren't you?" She asked as she stopped a couple feet away from me. She was being pushed by people passing by, but she didn't seem to care.
"Yeah, I am." I said pulling up the strap of my book bag.
"Cool, hope to see you around." She said smiling and walking a bit backwards until she completely turned around. Her intense gaze didn't leave my mind. Her green eyes stood out the most, capturing me. I looked as she walked away. My new friends were standing to the side looking at me.
"Hey! Wait!" I suddenly yelled. I didn't know how the sudden act of confidence slipped into my body, I could easily talk to any girl, but she was different. She turned around, slight confusion displayed on her face.
"Yeah?" She asked stopping.
"What's your name?" I asked.
She smiled. "Katherine."
"Calum."
"Well Calum, nice to meet you."
