Katherine's P.O.V

"Katherine, babe, c'mon I said I was sorry." Michael whined grabbing my waist as I tried to angrily walk away.

"No Michael, you've already screwed up a bunch of times." I huffed as I tried to release his tight grasp.

"C'mon baby. Please?" He asked as he put his head in the crook of my neck and started kissing it. I moved my head, trying to distance my skin from his lips but instead it gave him more access to it and he started to kiss my shoulder.

"C'mon you can't be mad just because I made a drunken mistake kissing Sara. I was drunk Katherine, it's not like I was doing it on purpose. " He said as he loosened his grip on me. I got out of his grasp and turned to look at him. "Yes, Michael I can. You do things you've always wanted to do when you're drunk." I told him crossing my arms.

"Why did Luke have to tell you." He said as he grabbed his hair.

"It was good of Luke to tell me, I've known him my whole life, I consider him one of my best friends, you didn't think that he would keep your little secrets after you basically just met him a couple months ago, did you." I told him letting out a long sigh. "This just proves that you really didn't love me."

"But I do love you Kat." He whispered.

"If you did love me, you wouldn't have done that even if you were drunk. I'm done Michael. Done with you. Done with everything. You're just making my life hard with all your 'drunken mistakes' and I think that's the last thing I need right now. It's over Michael." I said, my voice breaking at the end.

"No Kat, please." He said, his voice desperate.

I started to walk away but his hand grabbed my wrist. "Please Katherine. I love you. I won't do anything else." He said his eyes watering. Never have I ever seen him cry, except for a few times when a slice of pizza fell on the floor, but he was being dramatic.

I pulled away and walked towards my car.

"Fuck!" I heard him yell followed by a huge crash. He must've hit the mailbox behind him.

I unlocked my car and got in, starting it and driving away not even glancing at the mess that Michael was. A few tears escaped my eyes but I quickly wiped them away. I was happy that school was starting soon and that I would have something to keep me busy.

I couldn't say that it was easy to break things off with Michael but it wasn't the hardest break up I ever had. The hardest breakup I've ever had was with a boy named Matt, he broke me, to say the least. I couldn't even talk to a guy or give a guy a chance because of him. Michael was the first one. But sometimes you have to move on.

I drove past my house, I was on my way to Poppy's house. I parked on her driveway and got out my car closing the door and locking it. Before I went up to her door, I wiped all the tears that had managed to escape my swollen eyes and I took a quick glance over at myself through the reflection of my car window. When I thought I looked decent I walked over to her door and rung the doorbell, waiting for Poppy to come open the door.

"Come in, I'm guessing it has something to do with Michael considering you only cry when he's done something stupid. What happened now?" Poppy asked me as she held her front door wide open.

I walked inside and was greeted by her dog. The lab was wagging it's tail and once it reached me, it sat down. He was probably one of the most calm dogs I had ever came across on. "Hey Ritz." I said as I scratched behind his ear.

Poppy closed the door and walked past me motioning me to follow her upstairs to her room. I followed her with Ritz behind me. Once she opened the door and we were laying on her bed she spoke up. "Tell me what happened."
