"Mom I don't wanna move!", I said.

" Paige , your 17 . Me and your father agreed we needed to move. For various reasons." , my mom countered politely .

" mom, my friends .... Ally , Taylor . There gonna be devastated ."

" Life isn't always fair. We leave in two days I suggest you pack. "

~ two days later ~
We're heading to the airport. The cold rain of California , fogging my glasses for the last time. My contacts just didn't feel right that day. I didn't like my glasses and it fit perfect with the occasion. I put my suit case in the back of my moms car, ignoring my mom. When we finally arrive, I spotted a sign .
" Mason  "
Jeez , I thought as I walked into the airport . My bags where checked in and I walked around, hoping to find something to keep so that I could remember California. But all I saw was a stupid nic-nac of the Golden Gate Bridge. Sweaters also were hung all over the shop. I was unimpressed by the lack of 'cool' things that could've been in there. I could care less though, leaving my friends was the worst thing that I couldn't get out of the back of my mind. I couldn't stop thinking about it. If I could take my friends it would have been the best 'nic-nac' ever.
I went to sit down to wait for my airplane number to be called, but was immediately bombarded by my mom rushing me towards the gate door. I gave the lady my ticket and boarded in the right seats. My mom nagging about how I was  late the whole time.
But all I responded with was plugging my headphones in my ears and letting the music take me away.
