Sophia had to stay at the hospital for four more nights until she could return home. Harry could finally go home and relax a bit there. Being at the hospital was rough. He had seen things while he was there that he didn't want to see. It was his first time on a hospital that he could remember actually. And he didn't like it.
Harry promised Sophia that he would tell her everything when she got out of the hospital, something he wasn't so sure of. They had been through a lot, and he didn't know if she would be able to take it all in at once. His plan was to take things slow, and start off small. Then, eventually, he would find the right time to tell her the things he was nervous about telling her. The things he wished he didn't know himself.
In the shower, Harry thought. It seemed like that was the only thing he could do these days. It wasn't very pleasant thoughts either. Voices inside his head kept telling him it was his fault, and that their relationship would never be the same again. Maybe it wouldn't. But Harry was willing to fight for it, because that's how much he loved Sophia.
Watching TV wasn't really Harry's thing. He thought it was a stupid use of time, and that time should be spent with something that had actual value. Books had always been Harry's replacement of tv. He compared the different books with all the different tv-shows, and the chapters was the episodes. So, kind of, books and tv-shows weren't all that different. But there were some tv-shows Harry despised more than anything. Tv-shows that had no point or meaning, they were just there. It was almost like a commercial, except you could skip it.
Since Harry was four, he had always had a thing for pianos. He had never owned one, or even played one, but whenever he heard the sound of it, he felt like dancing, he felt like flying. The sound of it was so beautiful and precious to Harry, and he yearned to play it. Even though he didn't even know a single chord, he always felt it tingle in his fingers whenever he heard or saw the piano playing. He took that as a sign, a sign from God that he would one day play the piano, and maybe even brilliant as well.
Harry had just gotten out of the shower when the doorbell rang. A towel was lying on the sink, as Harry put it there for him to use it after the shower. He tucked it around him, only his torso showing, and ruffled his hair with another towel whilst walking towards the door. The doorball rang once again, and again, and again, and Harry didn't have to think twice who it was.
He opened the door. "What is the matter with you? I was in the shower, you arse."
Louis rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Get dressed."
"Why?"
Louis raised his eyebrows. "Well, were you planning on strollin' around naked all day?" Harry was about to answer when Louis cut him off. "Nevermind, I forgot it was you I was talking to. Anyway, we're going to a party, so suit up."
Harry furrowed his eyebrows in an angry manner. "Are you joking?"
Louis laughed hysterically in sarcasm. "Yes, ha ha, I'm so funny."
"Louis, first of all, I'm really not in the mood to party right now, you should know that. Second of all, why would I even suit up for a party? And why are you so nicely dressed? You never wear anything but trousers on parties," Harry said, looking up and down at Louis.
Louis put his finger up in a sassy way. "Eeerm, not true. I do wear clothes sometimes, come on, Haz," he said and frowned. "And it's not that kind of party."
"What do you mean?"
"You know my aunt Katherine?"
"The rich and luxurious one?" Harry asked, remembering how she practically despised Harry's presence on her last expensive party.
