Amy & Ty as Life Goes On

Chapter 9: Love Life, Baby

Ty's P.O.V

It's Valentine's Day in a week, is the first thing that jumps into my mind when I look at Amy. Ideas of what to do start swarming my mind. Dinner? Movie? A ride?A date? Relaxing at home?

Amy starts stirring next to me, as I look at her, I realize that something isn't right. She looks sick. As she opens her eyes, I notice that her eyes are blood-shot.

''Hi,'' she says, well more like tries to.

''Morning Ames. Are you feeling okay?'' I say, my concern for her taking over quickly. Amy looks at me for a short moment, and then shakes her head. ''What's wrong?'' I ask.

''My head is pounding and my throat feels like it has sandpaper in it,'' she replies, her voice barely above a whisper.

''I'll go get you some Ibuprofen and something for your throat, okay? Stay here,'' I say getting out of bed, kissing her forehead before I go downstairs.

''Morning Ty,'' Jacks voice greets me as I walk into the kitchen.

''Hey Jack,'' I say, opening the cupboard and grabbing a pretty large mug.

''Everything alright?'' Jack asks, concern lacing his voice.

''Yeah, well, kind of. Amy's coming down with something. I don't think it's too serious, probably just a bad cold,'' I say.

''You care about Amy so much,'' Jack mummers, his voice barely audible.

''Of coarse I do,'' I say with a smile. ''She would do the same thing for me if the roles were reversed,'' I say softly, almost to myself.

''That she would,'' Jack says before pulling on his boots and jacket and heading outside. I put the kettle on and grab a tea bag of black tea from the press. As the water's boiling, I add three teaspoons of sugar to the teabag in the mug. Since water doesn't boil that fast, I walk into the bathroom and over to the medicine cabinet to grab two Ibuprofen pills for Amy as well as some throat lozenges.

''Here,'' I say to Amy as I hand her the pills and a bottle of water. I unscrew the top of the bottle before handing it to her.

''Thanks,'' Amy says as she swallows the pills with the help of gulps of water.

''You're welcome Hun. I'm going to call Scott to tell him that I'm not coming to work,'' I say grabbing my phone.

''No, don't, go to work. I'll be fine, Lou and Grandpa are here. Okay?'' Amy says, gently taking the phone from my hand.

''Are you sure? I don't want to be away if your sick Ames,'' I ask unsure if I should call Scott or not, even though Amy told me not to.

''I'm sure,'' she says with a small smile.

''Okay, but call me if you want me to come home, alright? Do you want anything else?'' I say, giving in.

''I will. Can you get me another blanket please?''

One week later..

Ty's P.O.V

"Amy are you ready to go?'' I call down the hall to Georgie's room where Amy's getting ready.

''Yep,'' Amy says coming out of the room, looking stunning. She's wearing a turquoise mid-thigh length dress with a simple beige cardigan over top, along with black tights and a pair of brown combat boots, minimal make-up on her face and her hair curled loosely at the bottom.

''You look incredible Ames,'' I say kissing her forehead.

''You look pretty good yourself,'' Amy replies, giving me cheeky grin. ''Come on!''

Amy has her head resting on my shoulder the entire ride to the restaurant. As I pull up, she lifts her head from my shoulder and kisses my neck softly.

As I get out of my truck, Amy says, ''Don't even think about closing that door,'' and climbs out from the drivers side of the truck. I shake my head at her and grab her hand, and intertwine our fingers. Amy smiles at me.

''Reservation for Borden,'' I say to the receptionist at the entrance.

''Right this way, please,'' she says leading us into the restaurant, over to a table for two. ''You're waitress will be with you shortly,'' she says before leaving.

Back at the ranch house after Amy and Ty's date...

Amy's P.O.V.

''Where in everyone?'' I ask Ty as we walk into the ranch house after our date. I take of my boots and walk into the kitchen, turning on the light. I see a note written in Lou's curly handwriting pinned to the fridge,

Amy & Ty,

Grandpa went to Lisa's for the night and I took the girls to the Dude Ranch for the night. You have the house to yourselves until tomorrow noon, you can thank me later,

Lou xx.

''You see that,Ty?'' I say laughing. ''I'll be right back,'' I add, heading toward the bathroom. I quickly take off my make-up. I take my tights off as well and throw them into the laundry basket. I walk into the living room to see Ty sitting on the armrest on the couch. I walk up to him and loop my arms loosely around his neck.

''What do you want to do tonight?'' he asks in a husky whisper.

''Mmmm, I have an idea,'' I say, crashing my lips to his.

Third person P.O.V.

Amy moaned as Ty's lips sucked on her sweet spot right beneath her left ear. Ty put his hands on the back of Amy's thighs and lifted her up. Amy wrapped her legs tightly around his waist. Without removing his lips from his fianceé's neck, Ty walks over to the stairs and starts climbing them carefully, turning the light off on his way. As he enters their bedroom, he slowly and gently starts unzipping Amy's dress. Amy gently eases her legs from Ty's waist and stands up on her feet. Unwinding her arms from around his neck, Amy begins to undo the buttons on Ty's mint green button down shirt. Before Ty can do anything else, Amy takes her dress off and pulls Ty over to their bed. Ty takes his shirt and undershirt off and tosses them onto the floor. Slowly Ty lead them over to the bed, then, he gently pushed gently on it and climbed on top of her, hovering above her, his body weight distributed between his forearms and lower legs. His lips meet her lips in a passionate kiss. A kiss that quickly became heated and desperate. Ty's removed his lips from Amy's and moved onto her neck. Than onto her collarbone, the valley of her breasts.

The night was spent in pure love, lust, bliss and a heated passion.
