A RUN FOR LIFE

Role call

"Role call!" a deep strong male voice said.
"Not again!" A tough female voice complained.
This is the fifth time today what's goin on?!I'm first like always I bet. I thought curiously and angry.
"Swamp." Said the deep strong voice. No answer. "SWAmp." He said a little more adjitated.
I'm thus gonna ask why were doin this soo many times. Hopefully I get an answer for once."Why are we doing this so many times River?" I asked with patience. His face went blank. Like a piece of paper with nothin on it. No emotion. It was unusual for us River always had some sort of emotion...a straight face or a pissed off face.
River ignored me and said again for a third time "Swamp" more calmly than expected. He was a dark blue mixed with a light blue, muscular, he looked like he was 12 feet long and as high as 10 feet, his eyes were seaweed green.
He totally ignored me! If I did that to him he'd have a fit. If he's gonna ignore me I'm gonna ignore him. I huffed a little irritated. "River why are we doin this again?!" I blasted at him. Uhoh's went around and troubled faces came. That was one of Rivers pet peves. Everyone had to talk right or don't talk at all. He always got onto you and paid more attention to what you were asking or doin.
"Swamp, you know I hate it when anyone does that!" River said all piseed off lookin and distraught. Everyone burst out laughing. River looked like he was blushing which was quickly replaced by madness. But he thus ignored me and went on down the list, he didn't expect me to answer. Everyone knows me. I argue a lot, they start it, and don't back down,no matter what.
"Midnight!" River barked.
"Scrolls" said the all to familiar bored dragon. She was smart very smart. She thus ignored her ability. Her scales were bright from down here. Underground. She was a very dark purple,almost black, and some white scales on the underside of her wings which were long and elegant. Scrolls eyes were white. They looked strange and if you stare to long in them somethin happens we don't really know what but somethin happens. She's the only one that knows but won't tell us. No matter how hard we try. She says " Its safer if you don't know " or "You aren't ready to know" ,etc,etc. Its like she plans for new excuses.
"Now before I go any further what is the reason we do this?" River asked without a hint of emotion.
"So we are not tricked by the other groups of Dreamon's that have dreamonshifters in there group" we said and paused for a second. Then went on "these dreamonshifters are like dreamons but they can shift into the looks of another dragon or human" we finished off in unision. We've done this so many times we could do it in our sleep.litterly.
River said nothin. Which was unusal. River always said somethin from the secret "word book". We
I am not done with this chapter. I thus wanted to get it out there. Throughout the story I willl try to post pictues of what the characters look like.I am sorry if it is boring so far. I am trying to write a certain way. I all hope you guys like the story!! Vote if you like it and comment please!! Also I am really busy so the story may come in slower than hoped.
