I can hear Indigo screaming again. Shaking my head I peer into her room. She still thinks she's stuck in the corner. As I round the corridor down the hall I rub my throat where she stabbed me with a spork. She doesn't belong here my ass. She's loonier than the moon. Chuckling to myself at my pun, I walk back to her room, carrying a tray of her pills. Opening the door, I ease my way into the room.
"Indigo, we need to go ahead and have you take your pills now." I say speaking gently.
"Get out!!! Don't touch me!!!" She says screaming at me.
Easing my way towards her I put my one hand up to show I'm not here to hurt her, just give her, her pills to help calm her down. "We just have to take your pills and then we can just go on down to Dr. Carter's office, okay?"
"Please don't make me go, sir. Please, I'll be good, I swear." She begged.
Leading her out of the room and down the hallway by holding her upper arm I hesitate over what to say about what she said. "Indigo, Dr. Carter will be very happy to see you today," And then she dropped like she was hot, "Son of a-" Just as I stopped myself our head orderly Helga rounded the corner.
"What happened?! CODE BLUE!!! We have a cold blue!!!! I repeat code blue!!!" Helga screamed.
"She fainted, I was taking her to Dr. Carter's office, She must have tricked me into thinking she took her meds." I informed her.
"Take her to the infirmary now! I'll go call her mother, and Luka? Good job at the quick response." She praised. Helping me lift Indigo into a wheelchair, I gently set her down and start to wheel her into the infirmary.
