Y/n's POV

I opened my eyes and realized I was on what felt like a bed. I found my self staring at a vaulted, wooden ceiling.

My first thoughts were of the following.

1) I'm dead

2) The last 7 years were actually a dream and I'm still at home

3) The pig I saved kidnapped me and is now going to do horrible experiments on me

I quickly got rid of my third guess. I sat up and propped my self on my hands. Worst mistake. I felt pain shoot up my arms and I yelped in pain, very loudly. I heard foot steps and a door opened. I looked to see the family from earlier.

"Yay! You're awake!" the girl yelled. She wore a pink sweater with a shooting star on it. She also had a a purple skirt and black flats. She had a pink headband on her chocolate brown hair, and had the same color eyes. She ran over to me and hugged me. I awkwardly hugged back, since it has been a while I've gotten a hug from someone.

"Hi! MY NAME IS MABEL AND I LOVE SWEATERS AND UNICORNS! I HAVE A PET PIG AND I'M THIRTEEN YEARS OLD! WHAT'S YOUR NAME, HOW OLD ARE YOU, AND DO YOU WANT TO BE FRIENDS?!" The girl, Mabel, yelled.

"Uh, hi, nice to meet you. My name is y/n, I'm 14 and yeah, I want to friends with you!" I answered, a little shyly.

"This is Dipper, my nerdy twin brother," she said, pointing to the brunette boy with the same colored eyes, who was wearing an orange shirt, a blue vest, gray shorts, and black sneakers. "Hey! I'm not a nerd!" he said, turning red.

"This is my Grunkle Stan," Mabel continued, ignoring Dipper's comment. She pointed to a middle-aged man who was wearing a suit and a red tie.

"And this is my Grunkle Ford, Stan's twin brother!" she happily finished, while pointing to another middle-aged man wearing a beige trench coat and a red shirt. I waved to the family.

"So, that pig I found, Waddles, he's yours?" I asked, sitting crises crossed on a bed. "Yep! Thank you for finding him! I thought he was dead." She said.

"No problem." I said, smiling.

"So, Y/n, can you give me your family's number so they can come and pick you up." Ford said, holding a phone.

"Oh, m-my family?" I said, looking at my now bandaged arms. "I-I, don't have one anymore." I mumbled.

Dipper looked at me with a concerned expression.

"Oh, what happened to them? I mean, if you don't want to talk about it it's ok." He added very quickly.

I looked up and gave him a smile. "Thanks, but I guess I can say. It was a fire. I was the only one that made it out, then I moved to the forest, which is where I've been living at for the last 7 years." I said. I kinda lied. I mean, it WAS a fire, but I accidentally caused it.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Hey! Why not you stay here with us!" Mabel exclaimed, she looked at her Grunkles for an answer.

"Ok, I guess she can." Stan said.

I perked up. "Seriously? Oh my god thank you!" I said, jumping out the bed and hugging every one.

"Wow, this is going to be like having another Mabel." Dipper mumbled.

I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, how long have you two been here?" I asked Mabel and Dipper.

"Oh, we were here last summer and we just came back, like, two days ago." Dipper answered.
