Charlotte's POV.

"Thanks." I smiled at Niall as he opened his black Range Rover's door for me. I stepped in and buckled myself.

Niall ran across the bonet and got into the driver's seat. He put the key in the ignition and started the car.

"So, uh, did you like meeting Lux?" He asked me out of the blue.

I smiled at the thought of the little girl. "Oh yeah. She's so cute. Does she go on tour with you guys as well?"

He grinned. "Yeah, she does. Her and Harry are pretty inseparable. We're all a bit jealous at times."

I laughed. "Probably because he's her godfather, yeah."

I fiddled nervously with my fingers, wanting to ask him the question. "I know you want to ask something, Charlotte. Go on, it's alright." He sensed it almost instantly and smiled.

"Uh. I was uhm," I cleared my throat. "checking my twitter this morning and saw the whole Perrie & Zayn's enagagement breaking and stuff. Is it true? I know it's none of my business, but I just-"

He cut me off. "Yes, Charlotte. It is true. It took me off as a surprise as well. Perrie is such a nice girl. Liam just confirmed about it from Zayn today, he told me. But only he knows what actually happened between the two." I could almost make out the sadness in his eyes as he glanced at me and then back at the road.

I reached out to cup his hand in mine and put it on my lap, enterwining our fingers. "It'll be okay, Niall. Zayn will be fine." I smiled fondly.

I looked out of the window and saw that we were there because Niall had stopped.

"C'mon." He said, getting out of the car and opening the door for me.

I smiled thankfully and mumbled a small 'Thank you.' to him. As we walked up to the interance, a guy came upto us and shook hands with Niall.

"Niall! Hi. How're you holding up?"

"Pretty good, Paddy. How've you been?" Niall patted his back.

"Same old, same old. Who's this young lady, here?" Paddy looked over at me.

"I'm Charlotte, nice to meet you." I held my hand out with a smile.

"Paddy." He said and shook my hand. "and you too, love." He smiled at me.

Niall tugged at my hand. "We should go." I nodded. He turned to Paddy. "I'll see you soon, bud."

We walked into the house. The front door itself was huge.

"HARRY I SWEAR GIVE ME THE CARROT BACK!" We could hear Louis shout as they both ran for each other around the big living room.

"No way, Boo Bear! Get it yourself." Harry laughed and jumped over Sophia who was sitting on the couch next to Liam.

"And these are my best friends." Niall mumbled next to me and rolled his eyes.

I laughed and followed him inside.

"Guys!" Sophia yelled and came over to us.
