Jessie's POV

The doctor was going to let me go home today but I had to get an ultrasound first....never had one of those before, and I'm not quite sure what it is? Mom tried to explain it and all I got out if it was you get to see the baby on a computer screen or something. Her and Dad have been pretty cool through the past couple of days, they just kept saying we'd talk about it later, and we never really do. But I don't mind and I don't think they forget on purpose but they are stuck here with me while they are handling Starstruck and Kelly's tour. I didn't want to tie them down but they wouldn't leave me, I still felt bad.

So....mama and daddy walked back with me to the ultrasound thingy and sat down in the room. The room was filled with tools and equipment that I couldn't even tell you what a piece of it was for, be mama seemed to know the ultrasound machine when she saw it....duh Jessie, she was pregnant before. I just kinda stood there until mama told me to sit on the table until the doctor entered, I always got nervous in situation I knew nothing about so I made Mama sit right beside me, it made me a little more comfortable to know that she was there.

The longer I waited, the more nervous I got...it really have me time to think and freak out. What if something was wrong with the baby? Or I do something to hurt it? I couldn't face the fact that I was even pregnant yet.

Finally after what felt like forever, the doctor entered. I was so nervous, yet excited at the same time. Mama laid me back and pulled up my shirt just below my breasts, which caused me to give her a funny look. She laughed "You're gonna have to do it anyway." She shrugged and I soon felt a chill on my lower stomach. My head shot up and I saw a clear gel below my belly button...this was not what I expected. But I wasn't going to complain anyway.

The doctor pressed a stick to my stomach and moved it around, smearing the cold gel. Mama held my hand while hers and Daddy's eyes were glued to the computer-looking monitor. When the doctor moved the stick to a certain spot, a tiny dot appeared and a loud whooshing noise filled the room. "What's that?" I turned toward Mama and Daddy "The dot is the baby..." She pointed to the object that was about the size of a peanut. "And the thumping is their heart beat." She smiled "Are they okay?" I asked the doctor, genuinely clueless about this whole experience. "Perfect." The doctor smiled.
