CHAPTER ONE

FRIANDISE

*Alarm o'clock rings at 7:42 AM,The sun rises and its so beautiful out there..Whales lie on the shore of the sea,dead.Everything is beautiful and calm.*

Maeve's POV: Oh god..This alarm's sound is horrible!.

I get up and shut the alarm off,I looked outside the window at the dying whales..Poor whales..but they look beautiful,everything is beautiful here..The sun,The sea,the dead whales,the shore,the trees..just everything.

I look at my phone,it lights up.I grabbed the phone to check who the hell has messaged me at 8:00 AM!

*MESSAGE TEXT*

"Bailey: I need u to be in the office at 9 am 2day pls reply as soon as possible! :)"

Maeve's POV: Oh screw you Bailey,you always do that to me! Its f**king 8 am,how can I be at the office after ONE FREAKING HOUR?

I got up,brushed my teeth and washed my face real quick.I looked into the mirror.

Maeve's POV: Oh my god I look so horrible with this blemish..Lol I always look horrible!

And oh my god guys I forgot to introduce myself for you! Hi! Im Maeve Archimbound,21 years old,Im a journalist and photographer at Extraordinary Daily magazine.I like my work so so much,My dad,Edward Archimbound is also a journalist and photographer,I always looked up to my dad.I live near the sea in San Francisco.Im a Libra! I was born on 21th October,I like being a libra.

I grabbed my car keys and ran outside to my car,I looked back and heard my dad calling my name.

Maeve's dad (Edward Arhcimbound): Where are you going little girl? You forgot your camera right here!

Maeve: Im not little Im not 5 anymore!

I ran back and took the camera and hugged my dad.I rushed to the car and started it.I turned on the radio and it was so wow! DRAG ME DOWN WAS ON THE RADIO oh my god I was fangirling!

Mae've: NOBODY CAN DRAG ME DOOOWN NOBODY NOBODY!

I hummed to the song and drove really really fast to the office to meet Bailey,I hope its not something silly.

I noticed something really weird while driving..Dead lizards,flowers and birds are everywhere..Also dead whales on the shore,What the hell is wrong? Why is everything dying?

I heard the horns of a car behind me telling me to move and stop staring at everything!

I started to drive again,I parked at the office's parking.I read the office's name like its the first time I have ever read it..

Maeve: Extraordinary Daily..Wow,I have been working here for 2 years and it seems really beautiful today lol wow.Its so weird..

I entered the building and walked into my office and BAM!

Bailey: BOOOO!!
