You may say being a monster is cool. You may say having a dark side is normal. I agree with the second statement for a reason. Being a monster... Is not cool. Its dangerous. And for most of the world, probably frightening. But I have one question for you. If you could chose of what to be, which would you pick? Would you rather be a human or a monster? If you chose human, I agree. If you chose monster... Sadly, you are a fool. Take it from someone who knows....

Day 1

Hinata Kiyami was walking through the woods at night, "If only I had listened to brother..." Hinata was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans that were stained with blood. He struggled to walk through the trees as he was bruised and bleeding from his whole body, "Ugh. How much further...?" Hinata looked around only to see pure darkness surrounding him, "Man... Haa... I can't take much more..." he looked at a nearby tree and sat down, "If I cover myself in leaves under this tree then maybe... I'll survive" he grabbed as many leaves as he could and buried himself. He shut his eyes in hope of morning saving his life, "RRRRROOOOAAAARRRR!" a monster-like scream echoed through the woods as if it was thunder roaring. Hinata breathed silently as he kept his eyes shut, "Hopefully Its... Not too long before... Morning... comes...." he said before he lost consciousness.

Morning...

Hinata awoke in a bed, "Huh?" he looked around at his surroundings, "Where... Am I?"the house was decorated with white curtains and blue walls, "Should I leave?" he asked himself as he tried to get up, "Oww!" as soon as he sat up his side seemed to sting, "Oh... The cuts are still there" he saw his abdomen was covered in bandages, suddenly the door to the room flew open, "Ah" said the girl who opened the door as she held a tray with a cup of milk and some sandwiches. "oh you're awake! Good morning!" she set the tray down in front Hinata, "Um thank you... Who are you and why am I here?" asked Hinata, the girl looked at him with a smile smile, "I'm Yui Sayu. You're here because I found you in the woods. You were injured badly so I wanted to help you... Your wounds should be gone by tomorrow" Hinata looked at her in disbelief, "When did you find me?" Yui put a finger to her chin, "Uh... Last night! Yeah last night!" Hinata raised a brow, "I don't believe you. The monsters were out... Why would you help me if there were monsters out?!" the girl flinched at the sound of his loud voice, "I didn't want to leave someone to die! That's why I brought you here!" Hinata scoffed, "How were you a human when we're supposed to turn by night?" the girl looked to the ground, "I don't get angry fast... What about you? How were you still in your human form?" Hinata looked down at the bed sheets, "I can control myself... Those beasts attacked me when I was going home... Which reminds me. I need to leave. Thanks for helping me out" said Hinata as he got up from the bed putting his clothes on. Yui looked at him with sad eyes, "Do you... Really have to leave?" Hinata paused, "Eh?" Yui looked at the floor, "Can you please stay a little longer?" Hinata turned to face the girl, "Why should I?" he said as he cornered her to the wall, her eyes grew wide and she closed her eyes in embarrassment, Omg. He's too close! Yui blushed and opened her eyes only to meet Hinata's green eyes, "You should stay! B-because uh... You haven't eaten breakfast!" she said in a scared voice, Hinata's sharp eyes closed as he sighed, "Fine..." Yui gulped and was freed from the small space as Hinata moved away from her. The two ate breakfast together in silence, "Uh um... Excuse me but I uh never got your name" said Yui, Hinata looked up at her as he ate, "Kiyami... Hinata Kiyami" Yui smiled, "Ah cute name..." Hinata stared at her, "What's so cute about it?" Yui continued smiling, "I like the name Hinata thats why I think its cute" the teen kept his piercing gaze at Yui, "...Wow" he said as he continued to eat. Yui felt awkward so she decided not to speak more.

After Eating...

Yui took the plates into the kitchen, as they finished, "Hinata... Can you tell me about the monsters?" she asked as she turned on the sink. Hinata walked into the kitchen, "Why? Aren't we all monsters?" Yui nodded, "But you probably know more than I do about our people" Hinata sighed, "It all began when the human race was at it's worst... In the year 2020. Anger and depression was more common than sickness. It only worsened over time and eventually the human race had become something different from what it used to be... Our anger seemed to come out during the evening and our normal side in the morning. Except when this started, we had lost one of nature's most important factor... We had lost the stars and we were only left with the moon and sun. Everyone knew what that meant. They say that the stars were wishes that people made that were to come true one day... But when we lost the stars, us humans knew that no wishes were going to come true anymore. From that day, the human race was crippling. Millions died but not from natural causes. Those humans died of transformation. When their bodies were found, scientists couldn't be more shocked. The human body didn't even resemble a human. It resembled that of a monster. The scientist think that its pure anger and sadness that caused it. But in 2041, the monster transformation no longer destroyed the human body... It lived in it. Thats when every human knew that morning and afternoon was safe but evenings were incredibly dangerous. They also knew that they could no longer get angry as much they used to so drugs became legal but it didn't help the situation. Their anger still appeared even if the person wasn't as angry. Fortunately for me, my father found a way to slightly control anger. This caused a major difference in my family. This means that at night we only transformed for a few minutes rather than the whole night" Yui remained speechless as she tried to believe the words she had just heard. "If you want... I can teach you that technique to repay you for helping me" Yui turned to look at Hinata, his black hair seemed to almost cover his right eye, "Really? You'd teach me?" Hinata nodded, "Thank you!" she smiled brightly, Hinata continued to stare without any emotion, "But first you have to practice something..." Yui raised a brow, "Practice what?" Hinata looked at Yui's eyes, "You need to practice your concentration" Yui still seemed confused, "How do you practice concentrating?" Hinata sighed, "I'll show you"
