"I'm glad you're okay" Hinata gave the girl a smile, "So... Are we going to eat ? Hehe" Yui asked with a cheeky smile, Hinata's smile faded, "...yeah... Wait a sec while I go get some food..." he stood up from his seat and walked out of the room, Hiro was in the kitchen, "Yo. Finally woke up. I made some eggs. And some pancakes" Hinata nodded, Hiro stopped and stared at his brother, "Ain't Yui comin'?" Hinata looked away from his brother, "No. I'm giving her food today. Don't bother with going to her yourself" Hiro raised a brow, "Okay. I never asked if I could go feed her but alright. Fine with me. Just don't leave her starving and don't starve yourself either. Its bad for the body" Hinata took the plate Hiro had held, "so is transforming into a monster..." Hiro frowned. Hinata walked back to Yui with the plate of food including a fork and a cup of lemonade, "Here you go..." Yui's face lighted up, "Yay! Food !" Hinata couldn't help but smile at her reaction,

I guess I can let go of the no thanks... She is cheerful and i guess its cool. But I shouldn't spoil her either.

Hinata looked out the window,

If I can make it to the center... Maybe it'll end this nightmare of a world...

Yui stared at Hinata, she felt his eyes looked out the window as if he was looking at hell.

What is going through his mind? He's always serious. Although... He finally smiled at me... A side of him I never thought I'd see. Its kind of... Cute hehe.

Yui giggled quietly as she ate her breakfast. Time seemed to be still at that moment for some reason and Hinata had no idea why.

Later

Hinata walked into Hiro's room finding the older brother polishing a rifle, making Hinata's eyes grow wide, "What the hell?!" Hiro looked up and raised a brow, "What? Never seen a gun before?" Hinata sighed, "Uh yeah I have. Only you were pointing that thing right at me" Hiro wiped the rifle and smirked, "Safety is on" Hinata shook his head, "Okay. I need to talk with you" Hiro nodded his head still wiping the rifle, "I'm going to the Center" Hiro dropped the rifle, "What did you say ?!" He grabbed Hinata by his shirt, "Do you want to die ?!" Hinata shook his head and removed his brother's hand, "No. I want to help cure the people that we see now as 'humanity'. I don't accept this. I never can and never will so I'm going to cure them if I can" Hiro clicked his tongue, "You idiot.... Do you remember why father made us live here ?!" Hinata nodded, "To protect us from the city and the people" Hiro nodded, "So why... Tell me ! Why are you trying to get yourself killed ?!" Hinata sighed heavily. "Honestly, regardless of what we do, we will still die at some point. I'm not saying to go accept death. I'm saying that there's no reason why we shouldn't go and find a way to cure humanity. That way we wouldn't have to worry about the next generation of people. No more fear of the nightfall. It wouldn't cure the terrible side of the world but it would help at least a bit" Hiro shook his head, "No it wouldn't. The world is still terrible and nothing can change that. Even if you find a cure, what makes you think the world will truly believe you? You're only a kid! What they'd be thinking is that you're some brat who thinks he knows everything. So there's no point in trying Hinata" the teen shook his head, "There's a point. And who cares if no one believes me. At least I know I tried to help ! If anything I could at least help some people and get rid of the monsters!" Hiro stood up from his bed, "You really are an idiot" he walked out of his room and outside of the house.

Hinata kept his frown as he looked at the door, "He knows I'm right. It's dangerous I know. But I have no other choice..." Hinata clenched his fist as he looked out at the sunset from the window.

I'll make it... By all means... If I die on my journey... Then I die and thats it. That means this journey was made for someone else.

He walked out of his brother's room and into his own, "Yui... I'm going to pack up right now so can you go to Hiro's room or the kitchen?" Yui raised a brow, "Huh? What do you mean?" Hinata stared at her, "I'm going to the Center. Don't try to stop me" Yui's eyes grew wide, "What..." Hinata grabbed a bag made of nylon and began fold his clothes to put it inside, Yui remained silent, "...I'll step outside then..." Hinata ignored her voice as he packed. Yui walked out of the room and stepped outside of the cabin. She saw the sunset almost disappear, "I miss seeing the stars... There's no light in the dark. Only the moon now... Its unfair..." Yui sat on the doorstep. She stared into the sky, "Its so dark. Thats all we can see now... Pure Darkness" she reached her arm into the sky, "I wish I could have the stars back..." Yui sighed sadly and her hand dropped. She saw that it was now dark, "I don't want to go inside yet... But I should" Yui stood up and turned to walk in as she felt a had grab her arm, "Huh?" she turned to look and saw Hiro in pain and covered in blood, "Yui-!" Hiro fell unconscious on top of the girl, "Ah! Hiro! What happened?!" she removed the older teen's body, "Wha... His... His-!" Yui felt the blood drain from her face, "AAAAH!!!!!"

Hinata heard the scream and threw the bag as he ran outside, "Yui?!" he saw the girl crying as she held the boy's brother, "Hiro?! Yui what happened to him?!" Yui shook her head and pointed at Hiro's side, Hinata's eyes grew wide, "His... Skin is ripped open! Get him inside the house now!" Yui wiped her tears and picked up the older teen. The two picked up Hiro and lied him down on the bed, "Okay. We have to patch up that deep wound first! bring out the box from the below the bed, Now !" The girl quickly pulled out a box and opened it to find a limited amount of first aid items.

Later... (10 minutes)

Hinata had placed on gloves and a mask, he grabbed tweezers. He found a small fluid that seemed apart from Hiro's body, "The hell is that..." Hinata grabbed a small sample of the fluid and put it in a small clear bag. He then cleaned and closed the wound, adding a bandage to cover it.

Hinata put the bag under a small microscope and looked in, his eyes grew wide once more, Yui began to worry, "What's wrong Hinata?" the boy pulled away from the machine. He looked at Yui in shock, "Take a look for yourself..." Yui walked over to the sample and looked inside the microscope, "Eh.. The particles are moving! They're swallowing up the red dots!" Hinata looked at the girl, "Yui... The red dots... Are red blood cells. They're being eaten up by a disease... I think it might kill my brother" Yui looked over at Hiro and tears filled her eyes, "no... Not him. Hiro can't die! How did that even get into his body?! How?!" Hinata shook his head, "I don't know... Our only hope is if he wakes up..." the two stared at Hiro, the only person with an answer to what may have happened and what could happen.
