If Only:A Descendants Story

Chapter 1:

"Evie,please hurry.I told Ben that I'd have breakfast with him and his parents this morning.I also have to make some muffins!"

The bathroom door opens,and Evie walks out wearing her new dress,with her black-blue hair in an elegant dutch braid.

"Sorry,M.And to make it up to you,I'm going to make you gorgeous for your breakfast with the King and his family...because,honey,that" Evie points to my silver jeans and purple halter top."is not acceptable."

"Wh-?" I begin.

Evie shakes her head."No ma'am."

I roll my eyes and she shoves me into the bathroom,sitting me on the toilet and she quickly does my hair and makeup.

"And now for the outfit..."Evie says rushing to our closet.

She comes back with a purple dress with spaghetti straps and my black leather jacket.

I huff,take the outfit,and close the bathroom door.

When I put the dress and jacket on I take a look in the mirror and smile.

My purple hair is wavy,pulled to one side,and my makeup makes my skin glow. A tiny bit of blush,a hint of light purple eyeshadow and light pink gloss.

I walk out of the bathrom and say:"Thanks,E."

Evie smiles and gives me a hug."My pleasure.Now! You go down to the kitchen and make your muffins.I'll tell Ben that I'm the reason your late.Now scoot." And she shoves me out the door.

I smirk and make my way to the kitchen.

I find the ingredients I need for the chocolate chip muffins and quickly mix it together.

I pour the mix into a cupcake pan and put it in the oven. I wait 15 minutes and their done.

After,taking them out of the oven,putting them on a plate and putting suran wrap over that,I clean up my mess and hurry to the castle section of Auradon.

Technically,the whole building is the castle,but there's a section where it's just for Ben and his parents(occasionally me...when I visit that is).

I knock on the large wooden door and a second later I'm greeted by Hans their butler.

Hans smiles at me and bows."Welcome,Miss Mal. King Benjamin is eagerly awaiting your arrival.And I see you made muffins? Wonderful!"

I give Hans a friendly smile,he takes the muffins and leads me into the dining area.

Ben stands when he sees me and smiles.

I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his neck.

"Hi."I whisper.

"Hey."He whispers back.

We break our hug and I greet his parents,taking the seat beside Ben.

"We're glad you make it,dear." Mrs.Belle says sending me a warm smile.

"It's always a pleasure to be here."I reply.

"And you made muffins?" Mr.Beast asks as Hans sits them on the table.

I nod."I know Ben likes them."I say giving him a knowing smile.

Ben laughs."No love potion this time right?"

I laugh."No."

Constantine,the maid,serves us our breakfast plates filled with bacon,fried potatoes,biscuits,and waffles and we begin eating.

Throughout breakfast,we talk and laugh.
It's not until the plates have been cleared away that the atmosphere becomes very serious.

"Mal,sweetheart..."Mrs.Belle begins."You know that um...well,Benjamin is king...a-and since Beast and I only have one child...well there needs be a king and a queen. The laws of Auradon are very clear on that...um....Benjamin,would you like to finish?"

I look over at my boyfriend and suddenly notice that his grip on my hand has gotten tighter.

"Mal."He says taking a big breath.

"I want you to be Queen of Auradon."
