Just a Girl

She's crying on the inside no

She's dying on the inside

All alone now

But that's how she's always been

Her trust is falling low

Now there's nowhere to go

She won't let you in

She's been hurt before

The pain she still buries

The rain she still carries

She's all alone now

But it's by her own choice

She hides her voice

To afraid to speak up

To afraid to stand out

But if she could love

She would find herself

If she stopped running away

The good comes with the bad

If she'd learn to stay

She could find somebody else

Maybe even find herself

If you saw the pain thats in her eye

Would you be a shoulder for her to cry

Would you let her trust you

Then throw her away

Her potential, too, so great

Was it to much for you to bear?

Show this world how to care

Change a life that's been sad

Wipe the slate clean

Be the hero she never had

Sweep her off her feet

Show her the dent in your armor

Let her know your amor
