There's really no better day
Than the one ahead of us
If we made it our best
Or took time to do what's right
If we fed a starving world
Instead of running from the fight
We could be heroes
If we took the time to try
And helped out one another
But instead we let our hopes die
Show this world how to care
Wipe the slate clean
Be the hero she never had
Sweep her off her feet
Let it be known
That from this day on
The world will change
One person at a time
