Chapter 2

Emily's Pov

 It was the beginning of freshmen year and I stood there staring at Madison, one of my best friends. Our eyes caught and my wolf screamed 'mate'. I was so happy. My phone went off  signaling I got a text. Looking at my phone a message from Madison appeared.

Maddy^_^: Meet me in the music room I got a surprise for u ;) baby

Ems: b ther in a min. gotta break up wif da bf. u look cute 2day

Maddy^_^: thanks baby. u look hot. I could do a sorts of thangs to ya. be quick.... Idk if I can wait. [end of convo]

I ran until I found Erin. He only looked at me and nodded. Giving him a quick smile I rushed past him and spotted the music room. I hurried inside with a grin plaster on my face. Madison sat on one of the desk with a small smile on her face. "Hey. You look good," She had said but her next words broke me "but I can't be with a girl. Dykes are gross and faggots are a bunch of cocksuckers."

Anger and sadness surged through me. "Wait, so its ok for you to get on your knees and give a guy head, but as soon as a guy does it it's wrong. You have messed up logic there. So you're going to reject because I'm a female?" My voice broke at the end.

"That and I'm dating Alpha Jason. So here it goes. I, Madison Wright, reject and deny the mate bond with you, Emily Stone."

I awoke suddenly. Gasping for air, pain spread through my body. Heat spread like no tomorrow. Fucking Madison, I thought. I stood uneasily and stumbled into the bathroom. I threw the medicine cabinet open searching for the heroine and weed I had hidden. Grabbing them I made my way to the couch and sat down. The open bottle of vodka called out to me. I placed my stuff in front off me then grabbed the vodka. Bringing it to my lips, I threw my head back chugging it. Once the bottle was finished I threw it to the wall and watched the bottle break. Turning my attention back to the drugs in front of me, I grabbed a joint and brought it to my mouth. I lit it quickly and grabbed a clean syringe. After I got everything situated I push until the heroine was in my blood stream. The joint fell out of my mouth as I passed out.

When I awoke, my new Alpha and father stood over me, concern lacing his features. He looked around my coffee table before asking, "I thought you said you were quitting?"

"She was sleeping with someone else. I couldn't help it. After all these years I still love her."

"Well stop loving her sweetheart. I know she's your mate but forget about her."

A growl tore through me. "Why? Its been three years and I still haven't found my second chance mate dad."

"I know. I- Just come to my office later. We have business later." He sighed.

"I'll go now with you."

Without another word he stood up and walked to my future office with me in tow. When we got there some of the warriors were in the office. They all nodded at me and dad. "Now that you're all here we'll discuss the fact that were going to help a pack with a hunter problem.." He looked at me and looked sad. " The pack is Blue Waters." Shock filled me and I sat there with a blank face. "We'll be going in a week. Emily. Are you ok?"

"Yes. Continue."

"All warriors presence will be going. Start packing. You'll be there for a month."
