"Are we really spending this weekend with your mom and step dad?" Jon asked as we walked out of the hotel room to the hotel room to the rental car. We weren't riding on the bus for a good few weeks, the company wanted us in and out of the hotel rooms and rental cars instead.
"Well maybe if we got our own house." I rolled my eyes getting into the passenger side of the vehicle letting Jon drive.
"You know I don't want to talk about that." He told me putting the car into drive.
"Jon, we need our own place to stay when we're not traveling." I told him taking my phone out putting my purse in the back seat.
"Listen Tay, I'm not getting into this, we've only been together for a year." He turned a sharp left making me hit my head on the window.
"A year, oh I'm sorry do you not see us lasting longer than now?" I asked looking at him, my eyebrows raised and tears threatening to spill from my eyes.
"Oh come on." He groaned. The drive was four hours. I was stuck in here for four hours now.
"Seriously? Do you not think before you speak?" I asked him glaring, my thumbs moved quickly on my phone.
Where are you at right now? - T.
We just stopped at the gas station on 59. - P.
Stay there, can I get in with you guys? - T.
Of course! - P.
"Stop at the gas station up ahead." I told Jon, my voice cracking.
"Why?" He demanded speeding up.
"I'm getting in with Paige." I informed him. I watched his fingers grip around the steering wheel until his knuckles were white.
"Why are you being like this?" He asked me, stopping at the gas station.
I ignored him and went into the back seat to grab my purse.
"Hey." Paige came over and gave me a hug, we pulled my luggage out of the trunk.
"What the hell Tay?" Jon was out of the car standing in front of me.
"Look, I'm going home, Paige will drop me off, I'll text you. I hope you find a nice hotel room." I said, and got into the back of Paige's car because her boyfriend was in the front seat.
Well that was a great start to the week.
