Chapter 24

the door was unlocked.i quietly open the door and quietly .i quietly walk by the living room so they won't see me.i saw that they were watching 'the uninvited' fear moves in . it was at the part Anna's mum's ghost was in her room Anna was getting scared.at the right time i jumped in front of them yelling "BOO!!" they all started to scream and i started laughing."Mae??" they asked finally noticing me "you're not a ghost right?" Nialler asked "no i am a ghost i came back to haunt your lifes" i said in a ghost voice "you're lying" Zayn said still scared "then touch my hand then" i said still in a ghost voice holding my hand out. Zayn slowly try to toch my hand "AAAAHHHH!!" i screamed "AAAHHHHH!" Zayn screamed and ran away making me laugh. i stopped and said "well don't just sit there give me a hug!" i said holding my arms out they get up from their shocked faces and hugged me.which was squeezing Zayn come back and joined in ."y-you're alive?" Harry asked "yeah" "we missed you!!" they yelled "awh! i missed you guys too" i said tearing up as the boys let go of me Harry wipes my tears with his thumbs and smiles.we both started to lean in and kissed. "oh Mae i gave Harry the teddy bear" Niall said  "oh thanks for doing that" i said and he nodded "oh yeah Thanks i loved it" Harry said "your welcome i'm glad you did" i said with my arms around his neck. "hey guys what day is it?" i asked "February 21 why?" Zayn said "shit" i cursed under my breath. "why babe?" Harry asked "today is Karissa's birthday" "oh what do we do?" they asked "tweet her happy birthday first" i said they nodded and took their phones out.~"what now?" Lou asked "lets try to get her back i'll call her" i said and dialed her number."hello?" she asks "hey Karissa Happy birthday" Harry said "Thanks how are you guys?" "we're good" "oh thats good"  then it went silent .i grabbed the phone from Harry "um hello? did you forget anybody?" i asked joking around. "Mae?!?!"  "sup" it went silent again. "hello?" i ask "oh sorry i was just doing something" she said she sounded like she was crying . "were you crying?" i asked "no" "how come you sound like it?" "ok fine i was crying" "aw why?" i asked  "oh nothing" "Krissy tell me" "its nothing" she said lying "are you staying there" Niall said fast changing the subject "i don't know" "can you come back? we all missed you" Zayn said "yeah especially this lover boy here Liam" Harry said on the back of the couch . i chuckled Liam death glared him and pushed him off causing him to fall .we all laughed except Liam and Harry."awh i really missed you guys too and um give me a chance to think about it" "okay" "i gotta go i 'll talk to you guys later"she said "okay bye love you" "love you guys too" she said and hanged up.

Karissa's Pov.

"mom can i go back to London?"  "i'm sorry but no" she replied i frowned "why?" "because i don't want you to" "ugh"i went to the movie room.i started to watch toy story 1 to get my mind off of things. Then 2,3 then twilight. then i went to my room and wrote songs then layed in my bed listening to music.

Mae's Pov.

"do you think she still likes me?" Liam asked me "dude you went out with her right?" i asked "right" "okay then you'll probably have another chance" i said "thanks Mae" "no problem Liam" "if she chooses to come" i added then my phone vibrated. i took my phone out of my pocket and checked the messege. Karissa:i'm sorry i can't Mae:aww :( "hey guys she can't come i'm guessing her mum said no" i said breaking the news Liam frowned  "its okay Liam" "no its not" he ran up to his room "what happened?" Lou and Zayn asked "she can't come back" i answered "oh"Zayn said and frowned looking at the ground too and went up to his room. "thats heartbreaking i have a date with Ali bye guys" he said "okay have fun but not too much fun" i said and he chuckled.

Harry's Pov

"what happened?" i asked Mae. i'm glad i have her."Karissa can't come back i'm guessing her mum said no so shes staying there" she answered "wanna have a date at the bowling alley?"i asked  "sure"
