Ch. 15

Niall's P.O.V

I was shaking. I didn't want to know how this would affect her life, or if it even would. I knew that there was a chance that everything would be fine, but I also knew there was the chance that nothing would be fine at all.

I love my fans to death, but at this present moment in time, I couldn't be more upset with them.

"So, Ms. Smith, the results of the brain scan show no permanent damage, but you will have to take it easy for a couple days, like, try not to do as many activities as you usually do. You sure did get lucky, if you had hit your head any harder, you could've had serious problems."

I finally let out a breath I had no idea I was holding. She was going to be okay.

"Thank you so much," Elle said to the doctor, " and when will I be able to leave?"

"The paper work is at the front desk read for you to sign." The doctor said as he left.

"Niall, I'm going to be okay." I smiled. "Then so am I." I said back.

We signed the papers and left.

"So, you told them that you were my husband?"

"Yes I did, they believed it, too."

"I'm just glad you were there for everything, I don't know what I would have done without you."

"I'll always be here." I said with complete honesty and confidence. "Elle?"

"Yes?"

"Did you mean what you said? You need me?" I was actually a little nervous for the response.

She looked at me, and then looked down to the ground.

"Niall, I have never been one to really.. rely on a person before, and especially never one to admit it. I've really adapted to being by myself, and relying on myself for everything. But ever since I've met you, we've evolved from absolute strangers to best friends, I feel like I've known you for my whole life, and I honestly don't know what I would do without you now. So yes, I mean what I said.  I do need you, Niall." She said, and tears brimmed my eyes.

"I've never loved anyone as much as I love you now." I told her.

"Niall, I love you so much."

"Well you should, you are my wife." I joked.

"Someday.." She whispered to mainly herself, but I still heard her.

"Someday." I promised her.

I've never been one to break promises.
