I woke with a sudden shock. I look around only to see my bedroom window open. I don't remember having that open! All well mum might have opened it. I turn to shut it but see that there was a light on in the window directly opposite of mine. Even if I live in a mansion our neighbours still live quite close. I remembered a few weeks back that a family were moving in. I completely forgot about that. Well, no more getting changed in my room with the curtains open! I go to peer closer only to be spotted in the opposite room by the one and only Cameron!
I step closer and ask in a serious voice, "No! Not you! Did you know I was your neighbour?"
He smirked at me and answered "yea, wanted to know how long you would notice" my mouth dropped, "I knew opening your window would wake you up"
I stare at him in confusion, "what do you mean?"
I looks at the sky and mumbles something then looks at me again, "it means I jumped onto the tree and opened your window"
I stare at him and my mouth drops lower. How dare he invade my privacy. "Why?"
"To wake you up"
"Why?"
"So I can talk to you"
"Why?"
"Are you going to keep on saying why?"
"Yes and why did you wake me up? We have school tomorrow."
"Well then, goodnight"
I watch as he pulls his door close and shuts the curtains, but before he does he winks at me.
"What was the point of waking me up then?"
There was no answer and I shut the window and curtains. What a weird and confusing boy!
