Carter's POV

"I've looked everywhere Matt I can't find him and he's not answering did you have any luck?" I asked through the phone.

I heard Matt sigh "no I can't find him anywhere I'm getting really worried"

I walked past the coffee shop, I looked everywhere and there were no signs.

"Okay I'm gonna go get Cameron and Nash  then I'll meet you at the coffee shop good?" I asked and he agreed.

There was one spot I haven't checked but even though I hate Matts guts he's to weak to put up a fight against him if he's there.

I slid my phone in my back pocket and tossed up my hood, I walked to Taylor's house or technically his fathers house.

I walked up the broken side walk and up the creaky porch, it was an awful place but it's all Tay had unless he came over to my house.

I set my hand on the screen door knob and went to pull but my luck the screen door fell off the hinges and fell to the ground.

My hand glided across the front door and pushed it, the door opened with a creak.

"Taylor?" I whisper-yelled stepping one foot in the door.

I didn't want his dad to find me but he was more unlikely was to I mean I did just basically broke into his house.

I walked farther into the house, there was a glass bottle smashed on the floor, many many beer cans, and food left out on the counter. Taylor had never liked me here and I could see why.

I searched the entire house top to bottom and couldn't find him anywhere, I groaned and pulled out my phone dialing his number, it rang and rang but went straight to voicemail. I gave up and just decided to call the boys. I called Cameron first because I liked him more than Nash anyways.

"Hey did you get any luck?" He asked instantly.

"No but Matt wants everyone to meet up" I told him moving a few beer cans out of the way and walking towards the broken glass on the floor.

"Okay where?" He asked

"The coffee shop on third and second street, will you let the other two boys know where, I'll be there soon" I said hanging up and sliding my phone in my back pocket.

I knew I should get my dad involved because he's a cop but I was just afraid of what they would say, and as selfish as it sounded I wanted to be the hero, I wanted to find Taylor before Matt did.

Taylor's POV

My eyes slowly opened, it felt like days have pasted and honestly I wasn't surprised if they had, I groaned tugging on my wrist letting out a hiss when the metal dug into my skin.

I felt so weak, I couldn't do anything to get away and I felt pathetic.

"He-lp" I croaked, my voice cutting out in the middle by the a dried cough.

My arms were itching begging for more of the drugs, I swear they've put so much in me I was starting to see butterflies.

"Taylor" I heard a faint voice, I looked up seeing Matthew, I smiled and reached out for him with my broken arm but my hand went through him and he disappeared.

The door creaked open and in walked the lady that called her self my mother, I couldn't believe this women was my mother.

I groaned when she turned on the light, I blocked it from my eyes with the cast on my wrist.

"Ready for more?" She asked in a devilish voice.

I shook my head no but my mind was screaming yes.

"Please d-don't" I said my eyes slowly shutting, the reopened to see her standing in front of me with a needle. "Why are you doing this I don't even know you" I croaked causing her to laugh and stick the needle in my arm, I let out a slight moan feeling the drug take over it felt amazing- no stop being weak Taylor you will not turn into them.

"Because Taylor, I'm not gonna watch you have a better life then I did" she growled standing up.

I looked over at my arm that hung up by the hand cuffs, blood was falling down from my wrists from the medal that was digging into them.

The women started to walk out, she turned to me "sooner or later you'll be volunteering your self to the needle" she said turning off the lights and shutting the door.

Carters POV

I arrived to the coffee shop seeing the boys sitting in a booth, I hated talking to them, I wasn't even friends with them, the closest one to being my friend is Cameron and that's saying something.

I walked in the door and walked over to the booth taking a seat next to Matthew since Nash and Cam were sitting together.

"So no one had any luck?" I asked looking at all of them and each of them said no.

I sighed and laid my head against my hand, I looked over when the door opened and in walked a boy, he had his hood up and he wore a pair of black sweats he looked familiar but I couldn't place a finger on it.

"Is that Dustin Branson?" Cameron asked, I looked at him one more time, I couldn't believe it, he looked awful.

"I think so, I thought he went to get help?" Nash asked looking at us.

"I did too, I don't know but we need to worry about Taylor" Cam replied.

I nodded agreeing with him, I looked back at Dustin and frowned, if it wasn't for the drugs he'd actually be somewhere in life, he used to be really smart.

He was once one of mine and Taylor's really good friends.

"I'll be right back" I told the boys and they nodded. I got up from the booth and walked over to Dustin.

"Hey D" I said tapping on his shoulder, he looked over his shoulder, his eyes were really red and his face bones were popping out it was sad but I wasn't going to comment.

"Carter" he smiled and took his cup of coffee paying for it.

"Yeah, it's been a while how are you?" I asked, he nodded but didn't really answer but I guess I could tell his answer by looking at him.

I bit my lower lip and looked away "how are you and Taylor?" He asked, I turned my attention back at him.

"Good actually right now we're trying to find him" I gave a small laugh, he knitted his eyes brows together.

"What do you mean find him, is he okay?" He asked, I nodded and he smiled I couldn't tell if it was fake or not because he looked so sad.

"Do you wanna you know hang out some time?" I asked causing him to look at me.

"Uh yeah sure call me sometime" he said grabbing a napkin and asking some lady to borrow her pen. He jotted down his number and handed it to me.

We hugged and then he exited the coffee shop. I walked back over to the booth where Matt, Cam and Nash sat "so any plans?" I asked.

"Actually I was thinking we should just call you father" Cam stated, I knew it was the best option but I didn't know if I wanted to, I did want to find Taylor but that's the point, I wanted to find him.

"I agree" Nash said, they both looked at Matthew.

"Is your father a cop?" He asked and Cameron answered for me by nodding. "Then I think it's a good idea" he said and I sighed.
