The next morning
Kaylan
I wake up from the alarm from my phone going off . I look at my phone and it says 6:15 a.m. I stop the alarm and get up and pick out my outfit ( the one in the pic) I head out to the bathroom to take a shower but as I leave my room I bump into somebody dropping my body wash I look up to meet eyes
with Ryan . I roll my eyes at the fact he was the person I've been trying to avoid but he happens to be the first person I see this morning . I decide to keep it move when he chuckles and says well good morning to you too and I turn around and share a fake smile and say Goodmorning (mocking him) and I go to the bathroom and take care my hygiene. After I take about 45mins In the shower I realized I need to get going or I'll be extra late for school . I go in my room and get ready . I grab my bag ,my phone and my wallet and headed downstairs too the kitchen .
Drew's POV
I heard feet coming downstairs and I look up to see Kaylan . I sigh cause I'm not in the mood for her attitude this morning
Kaylan: good morning mommy
Drew: good morning baby you look cute
Kaylan: thanks ma can I go to jasmine house after school
Drew: yes make sure you home at a descent time ok
Kaylan: Ight ma thanks I gotta go (tried not looking in her face cause of the fresh bruises on her face and neck)
Drew: (I could tell Kaylan saw the bruises i hate for her to see me like this) ok baby have a good day at school
Kaylan POV
I text jasmine to tell her I'm omw to her house and put my headphones in and walk a block or two to jasmine's house it's our senior year in middle school and we are I guess you can say well known we became best friends a couples months back . But I love her like a sis she been there for me I've been there for her . I snapp out my thoughts and walk up to jasmine door and knock on it . I waited for awhile I was just about to knock again when jasmine's brother opened the door . He smiled at me and I smiled back and waved.
Justyn: wassup
Kaylan: nothing much just waiting on your sister ( I said loud enough for jasmine to hear me)
Jasmine: I'm coming I'll be down in a min
Kaylan and Justyn just laughed at her
There was complete silence while Kaylan waited for jasmine .
Justyn was doing his morning routine getting ready for school .
Finally Jasmine came downstairs
Kaylan: finally come on bitch we gon b late
Jasmine: no we not it only 7:45
Kaylan: exactly you walk slow as hell and we not that close to the school either now come on
We walked to the front door and Justyn yelled out bye jasmine and .... I assumed he wanted me to fill in the blank with my name and I yelled back Kaylan . Justyn: oh yeah later jas and kae ! I smiled to myself cause he gave me a nickname and then I snapped back to reality realizing we were still at jasmines house .
Kaylan: JASMINEE !! Let's go now ( I said closing the front door indicating I was leaving )
Jasmine : hold up I'm here
We walked to school
And like I predicted we were 5 mins late the bell rang already I didn't even bother going to my locker. Me and jas went our seperate ways . I walked in class my teacher was absent thank god 🙏 . I have first period math with my cousin diamond we get along sometimes but she at times gets on my nerves . She sat right next to me. (I rolled my eyes cause I haven't spoken to her since or last argument last weekend) I walked to my seat avoiding I contact with her .
Diamond: I'm srry kae ( she said looking at me)
Kaylan: w.e just don't try me again
Diamond: come on boo you can't be mad at me forever we cousins I love you 😘 ya feelzzz me nais (scrappy voice)
Kaylan: (laughing) okay okay I see somebody's been watching the Puerto Rican princess (josline voice)
Diamond: yes girl wyd today after school ?
Kaylan: nothing much go chill at jas house
Diamond: (rolled her eyes alil) you stay going to her house
Kaylan: what you expect that's my bish
Diamond : ( pouting ) what about me ?
Kaylan: what about you ? Jk jk you my fam we gon hang out this weekend
Diamond: Ight w.e can you walk me home tho?
Kaylan: you know jas gone be with me right?
Diamond: of course when isn't she with you!
Kaylan : alright now I'm not bout to argue you bout my relationship with jasmine !
Diamond : w.e what you wanna do this weekend when I come over
Kaylan: woah nooo bish You when I come over
Diamond: (pouting) nooo my house boring I wanna go to your house
Kaylan: it's either we chill at ya house or grandma and papa'a house
Diamond: ( rolling her eyes) fine
We can go to grandma house
Kaylan: yay!!
Bell rung and I went to my next class

Me: leaving class now
BESTFRIEND😘💕👭🙅: are your coming to my house today ?
Me: yes but I promised to walk diamond home
BESTFRIEND😘💕👭🙅: 💀 ok nd Ight see ya there
Me: noooo walk with me pleaseeeee 😘

Me: 😂 ik but she Ight with you coming

I put my phone away and walk to diamond's locker
Diamond: you ready 👀
Kaylan: (sarcism) no I'm ready let's goo (I said walking off )
Diamond: (trying to catch up )slow ya ass down
We met jas at the gym and start walking and talking while we walk to diamonds house we walked about 3 blocks to her house and she says bye see you this weekend.(she said closing the door)
Jasmine: this weekend 👀
Me: yeah what's wrong
Jasmine: did you forget we had plans this weekend
Me: oh shit I'm sorry I completely forgot
Jasmine: yeah we got a party and shit to go too
Me: oh yes I gtta remind my mom and I'll tell diamond we have to do it next time
Jasmine: ok
We walk to jas house only to see a bunch of high school niggas playing ball in the back. Where me and jas was headed to have girl talk but the guys where out there so we did a 360 right back inside.
Justyn: ayeeee yooooo wassgud (shouted out)
Me: (I turned around not knowing who he was talking too) ohh mee 👀
Justyn: ohh I can't talk to you now 👐(putting his hands up in defense)
Me: (laughing) no I didn't say that I'm just shocked your talking to me
Justyn: why (he said walking up to me)
Me: no reason in particular ( blushing)
Jasmine: come on kaeeeee (she said heading to the stairs)
Me: I gotta go I'll see you around
Justyn: Ight bet come see me before you go home ok ma
Me: ( trying not to blush ) ok jae
Justyn: ayee I like that I'll see later tho ma
Me: ok
I go upstairs to jasmine's room
Jasmine: finally why you talking to jae he's a bum ( laughing)
Me: 😂💀 no reason he just cool people
Jasmine: w.e let's do this h.w.
Me: ok
We did our h.w. For an about an hour and I was getting hungry.
Jasmine: you hungry
Me: girl you read my mind lets go get some food
We put up our homework
Jasmine: let's go to McDonald before my parents come home
We headed out to McDonald's.
