"It's senior year Collin. We're supposed to be having fun, getting drunk, and partying every night. I can't exactly do that for you all of the time, so maybe you'd be happier with some normal friends." I whined. I just can't hang like I used to.

"Listen Sebastien," Collin retorted, "I wouldn't rather be best friends with anyone else in the whole freaking universe. That's a lot of space so you do the math."

I looked at him, almost with anger but most out of self-pity for wanting him to be gone already and I inhaled slowly, thinking of what to say next. "So, the pack gathering party? You have to go, right," he asked.

I opened my mouth before shutting it again, making me look like a fish out of water and Collin smiled. "What," I asked honestly a bit angry with his smug look. He knew he'd get me to go to that party. His excuse, "Everyone's going to be there!"

In less than five minutes we were off to the parking lot, in search of my car.

"Found her," Collin scoffed.

"Wait who?" He looked at me incredulously and waved his hand over to me. "It's your car Sebastien. I don't know what you want to call it." He laughed before making his way into the passenger side of the car.

"Come on, hop in Sebastien, I don't think the seats will bite," Collin said enthusiastically.

"Where do you want me to take you? Home or my place?" I looked at him and he seemed deep in thought.

"Well...if I go home my mom will force me to do my homework and if I go to your house your mom will still force us to do our homework...either is the same," Collin stated.

"My place it is then," I stated. "We only live a block away from each other anyways."

His eyes focused on me. "Could I ask a favor?"

"Anything." I smiled for extra effect.

"Is it alright if I stay the night?" I looked at him again and thought. Considering that it's Thursday and tomorrow is the party, him staying over isn't such a bad idea.

We usually never get homework on Friday's anyways. Well not from Mr. Bridges. He takes pity on us for having to deal with all of the other wretched teachers.

"Yeah sure, no problem Collin. I'm sure that mom would love to have you over for dinner. As a matter of fact I think she likes you more than me."

"Does she now? Well what about that hot sister of yours? How is Elaine by the way? I mean how's she doing with college and stuff?"

I laughed at how he blushed when he was talking about my sister. I found it awkward knowing that he had a crush on my sister since grade school and just sad that he never manned-up and told her.

"Well come inside man, you don't want the wolves to bite do you?" I smirked as he stumbled getting in...Hmm, a name? I don't know. I'll just call her Baby.

My beautiful Baby. Baby, being my turquoise jeep with a black top and hinged-doors. She's an older lady but she's beautiful all the same. I laughed whilst thinking to myself and Collin looked at me.

"Come on," I said, "it's getting a bit dark and I have a bad feeling about running around town tonight."

He agreed and we headed in the house.
