"'Coffee Buddies' indeed just because we met at a cafe and like coffee, hmm..."

"What? It's definitely better than drinking companions!"

Making a gesture indicating for me to relax, Reborn explains,"No, no. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, Aiko. I actually can see the truth in that statement. I am after all, a well-known espresso addict, myself. "

Deflating a bit from getting worked up like that. "I see... Don't make me feel like an idiot ever again."

Smirking with mirth. Reborn says,"No promises, Aiko."

I pout childishly. "Reborn!", I huff.

Still dragging me by the arm, Reborn says,"Come on now, Aiko, you're not making this very easy for me to escort you back."

Picking up my pace a bit, I tug lightly on the arm still in his grasp. "I can walk just fine, Reborn!"

Pulling me towards himself to stand beside him, Reborn casually moves his arm around my waist. "Alright Aiko, but stay close, it's dangerous at night for a lady."

Embarrassed at his close proximity, I blush a bit and give a small squeak into his side. Muffled by his suit a bit I manage out,"Okay, I get it already, but this is too close for comfort, Reborn!"

Smirking at my flustered face, Reborn loosens his hold enough for us to walk side-by-side. "Alright, but I'm not letting you go until we reach your apartment."

Still red in the face but calming down, we turn the corner to the street my apartment is on. "Ah! Reborn, that's my apartment up ahead.", I exclaim pointing it out.

Following my hand in the direction I was indicating, Reborn looks at the nice architecture of the complex.  He walks me to the door and looks at me saying, "It's quite cute, it suits you. Maybe I'll drop by and make myself at home."

Unlocking the door, I laugh lightly and say, "Somehow I can see you doing that!"

Reborn now releases me from his hold and starts making his way out.  He lifts a hand as he walks away, chuckling, "I'll see you soon, Aiko."

I wave as his silhouette disappears into the night like a shadow. "Bye, Reborn." I close my door and lean against it, practically beaming in happiness.

I can't wait to see Reborn again.
