"Hmm..... You are very interesting Signora Aiko.", Reborn smirked with a glint in his eye.

"Just call me Aiko, Reborn, Signora is too fancy for my tastes and well I actually work in the Vongola Advertising Branch. It being part of the mafia isn't that far of a stretch when the crest is a bullet in a shield under a flying clam."

"You are taking this well for a civilian, Aiko. Quite smart too.", Reborn's smirk grew wider, if possible.

"Well for some reason I feel like we will get along well together. Besides I'll probably see you around if we work in the same 'company'.", I said with a smile and a sip of my Cappuccino.

With that darn smirk still on his face, Reborn commented, "You are an intriguing woman, Aiko."

"And you are a dangerous man, Reborn."

"Whoever said I wasn't?", he said with amusement.

The barista made his presence known, just as we finished our coffee. "Signor and Signora, thank you for coming but I'm afraid I have to close up shop."

We were then shown out after paying, although it was more like Reborn paying since he ordered the coffee for us anyways.

Thinking I should get back to my apartment since it was late, I turned to say goodbye.

"Reb-"

I was silenced by a finger pressed to my lips.

"Shh... Aiko, I can't just let a lady like yourself walk back on their own."

I move back a bit. "Trying to be a gentleman now, Mr. Hitman.", sarcasm laced in my words.

Drawing back his finger Reborn flicked up his fedora to show the amusement glinting in his eyes. "Why of course Aiko, how can I possibly be "The World's Greatest Hitman" if I couldn't walk my drinking companion home?"

I sighed knowing he would have just followed me back even if I could refuse him. "Reborn, 'drinking companions' would define us when we want to get drunk. I believe the best way to define us is 'Coffee Buddies'."

As Reborn takes my arm and pulls me into walking towards the general direction of apartment complexes. He falters slightly in his steps but continues walking after hearing my remark.

"'Coffee Buddies' indeed just because we met at a cafe and like coffee, hmm..."

"What? It's definitely better than drinking companions!"

Making a gesture indicating for me to relax, Reborn explains,"No, no. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, Aiko. I actually can see the truth in that statement. I am after all, a well-known espresso addict, myself. "

Deflating a bit from getting worked up like that. "I see... Don't make me feel like an idiot ever again."

Smirking with mirth. Reborn says,"No promises, Aiko."
