losing it

My mind was so full of unanswered questions. There was a tag of war in my brain that gave me a nasty headache.

The two big questions in my brain were 'Are you going mad? Yes you are.. No wait! You are not going mad... You're already mad...' I had already concluded that I had a condition that was only waiting to be triggered to awaken. And the trigger was there alright.

Agent Eva mondoe put me in an interrogation room. The room was poorly lit, a small energy saving bulb was at the center of the room and lit as if there was some ghost somewhere who was holding off the power - I know the irony in what I was thinking. I was surrounded by three brick walls and in front of me was an opaque glass wall. Now I had watched enough movies to know that behind that glass wall was where they stood and watched me. I was sure agent Eva was just standing there looking at me. I pretended not to care and just laid my head on the table and closed my eyes.

After a few minutes, the door knob was turned and the door creeked as it opened. I lifted my head up to see who had just come in. An agent I didn't recognize if he was an agent at all.

"Hello Mr. Davies... I'm here to ask you a few questions. I'm agent Gordon."

If there was anything my dad had taught me was not to trust anyone. Not the agents, not the police, not my friends, not my family and most definitely not to trust myself too much. So immediately he had finished introducing himself the next thing that came out of my mouth was....

"I didn't see anything. Put me in a psychiatric facility just like my dad wants. I agree that I am mad. Get it over with."

Then I turned towards the glass wall where I was sure my two-timing good for nothing dad was standing... Just watching and laughing at me.
"You happy now dad? Mmhhhh??? You got what you wanted... To get rid of me.. I will be back to haunt you dad."

I had raised my voice so high that I couldn't hear agent Gordon trying to calm me down. He had to knock me out for me to shut up.

My life was a mess... I had practically planned out my life, finish school at the top of my class, get laid a few times, meet a beautiful lady, buy a mansion and get two kids. Now all that had been forgotten.

The noise was too loud. Too many people talking at once, others shouting and screaming. My head wa hurting. Footsteps all around me. It was a stampede, people running up and down.

I opened my eyes and the bright light from the bulb directly above me first blinded me. Before my eyes had completely adapted to the amount of light in the room I was, all I could think about was Bella, with her perfect hair and flawless skin, her funny laugh and perfect teeth... I missed her.

Finally I got up. The sight!!! Everybody was in white. My heart stopped for a moment as I told myself Oh my God Davies! ! The killed you and you made it to heaven. How in the world did you make it to heaven??
