I ran through the gates of the large mansion. I sat down on the wooden porch swing reflecting on what I had heard about Serena.

Poor Serena. She wasn't even that bad of a person. She tried to change and reinvent her self. Then she dies in such an awful way.

I've always had a huge fear of drowning. Just the thought of your lungs filling up with water and you're in excruciating pain for at least three to five minutes awaiting your death.

The thought of it gave me goosebumps. I have a pretty good feeling that Serena's stalker is not her murderer.

If I wanted to find more information about Serena's stalker than I would have to talk to the librarian in the next town. I would have to talk Samantha again.

I began looking out at the beautiful scenery around me and breathed in the fresh country air. It's not like I get to see this every day so I might as well enjoy it.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a guy with pale blue eyes and shaggy brown hair walk past the garden gates. He looked at least seventeen years old. I jumped for second

"Hello. I'm sorry if I startled you. You must be Sayuri. My name is Shinji I'm the gardener's son."

"Nice to meet you."

"I hear you're solving Serena's murder."

"Yeah I am. Yurika practically begged me too."

"Its really sad actually. Serena tried to change. She really did but to Mr. Sangi and Lady Yori she was never good enough for them. She made one mistake and they kicked her out on the streets."

"Do you think her parents did it?"

"No. They may be cruel but they aren't evil."

"I've got a question for you. Were you and Serena dating?"

"How did you know."

"I can tell from the look in your eyes."

"She was special. Serena wasn't like any girl I've ever met. She was sweet, gentle, caring, and she was hard working too. Serena changed and yet her parents never even cared one bit. God I hate them so much. I'm sorry if I'm dumping this on you."

"No not at all. Tell me what you know."

"I know one thing. There's going to be another death I can feel it."

"How do you know?

"I just have a really bad feeling about tonight like something bad is going to happen. Do you get that feeling?"

"Yeah I do. Do you know anything about Serena having a stalker?"

"Yeah Samantha told me. Serena didn't want me to know about it because she didn't want me to worry about it."

"She must've cared about you and Samantha a whole lot."

"Yeah she sure did."

Said Shingi.

"I'm so sorry."

"Not its okay. I think I'll go inside now. Please catch the guy who did this too her. Make him pay!"

"I will."

I said nodding.

Out of now where a shrill scream came out of now where and it sounded like it came from the garden.

We both ran towards the garden only to find nothing. Nothing was there. It was if it came from a ghost.

I'm just being paranoid! Ghosts don't exist. There's evidence to back everything up.

"What was that?"

"Shingi I'm not exactly sure."

I said panting heavily.

"We better hurry. The Myamoto family is throwing a huge party for your arrival."

"Well I better get reddy. Is it one of those fancy parties?"

"Yes. The Myamotos are known for their fancy parties around these parts."

Said Shingi.

"I better hurry than."

I said smiling.

I ran up the winding stair case up to my room. I threw on a fancy long strapless blue dress.

I applied a light amount of makeup and added a strand of Pearls for the finishing touch.

I pulled my hair back up into a fancy up do with a pair of pearl earrings that matched my necklace.

I slipped on my black heels and walked down the steps towards the huge ballroom.

I swear the whole town was invited. The ballroom was filled with people. I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Hajime.

He even more attractive now. His big brown eyes had gold flecks in them. Which always caught my attentions He was wearing a black tux and black shoes.

Then out of now where a slow song began to play.

"May I have this dance?"

He asked holding out his hand.

I smiled and I took his hand.

"Sayuri you look beautiful."

"Thanks."

I said secretly blushing.

He looked up at me he looked like he was about to kiss me then I heard a loud scream. It sounded like Shingi.

Hajime and I stopped and ran towards where Shingi was.

"Shingi what's wrong?"

Shingi walked towards me he was carrying Samantha in his arms and he was sobbing.

Samantha was covered in blood and had a huge slash wound on her stomach.

"I found her in the hall. Like this. She's not breathing. She- she's dead."
