Chapter 6 Goodbye But Not Forever

(Bill Talking) Before you start asking who I saw,just so you know we will get up to that and I'll tell you everything.So sit back and relax and let's go to the next part..

(Bill Talking) Well today is the day when I say goodbye but not forever to my good mate Jerry Roger his funeral his being held today at noon and I'm overwhelmed by sadness geez he was my age after all and now his gone.(Bill Talking) Well it's noon and I'm here and all around are employees from Fuel Up Computers some of the people I don't know like this guy for example who came up to me and said Hi you must be William and I say yeah that's me and he says I thought so,He reaches in his pocket and hands me key and says this is to Jerry's locker at Central Lockers and also he wants you and Kate to go there in the next couple days and I say okay I'll let her know.(Bill Talking) But wait what he vanished,Okay back to me holding my beverage in my hand and I look around the room and everyone is in black.I hear the priest he says time to pay respects and all of us go in to the room and the sadness song came on it was called Goodbye my friend by John Barrowman.I started to cry I've never cried so much in my life and then a slideshow started to play with Jerry's life and we saw him from birth to the end.I sat there and looked up and said Jerry I'll never forget you,whatever happens I'm going to name my first born son after you and then the priest said does anyone have any kind words for the departure,(Bill Talking) I said I do and has I get up and walk to the front of the church and as I got there,I look to the left of me and it was Jerry he just look like he was sleeping and so I began to say.Jerry was a mate of mine even though sometimes he annoyed me,he was my mate no he was like a brother to me we did a lot together we discussed the future together I told him about mine and he told me about his and loved going to see Manchester United play,I just miss him so much he was my first true mate and you won't be forgotten Jerry,goodbye my friend but not forever here's to seeing you again,thank you for letting me become your mate.I then walk back to my chair and Jerry's mum said thank you that was lovely of you I said it was my pleasure and your son was a great guy Mrs Rogers and said thank you William.I go back to to my chair and then Sarah Mclachlan song I Will Remember You starts playing and I start crying more.I decided to go sit with Kate and I tell her I miss him so much this hurts so much and she says I know William I feel the same as you but let's try and remember how we remember Jerry okay William,I said while crying okay Kate that's a good idea and just sat there with Kate which felt like forever and then the priest said its time for the burial I get up as soon as Sarah McLachlan song I Will Remember You stops playing and John Barrowman song Goodbye My Friend begins to play again as I walked up to carry the casket with Jerry's brothers and sister and we all looked sad as we were walking to the hearse to place Jerry in and we placed Jerry in and touched the coffin as it was and said I know I said this to you Jerry but I mean it you won't be forgotten ever.So Jerry's brother Michael shut the door at the end of the hearse and we all step away as it was taking Jerry to the burial ground.(Bill Talking) I went back and stood there with Kate she was crying a lot her brown eyes were puffy red from all the crying and I said we have to go to the cemetery now and Kate says okay William let's go.
