When the trio reached the nurse's office, Yui was thoroughly surprised to see Thoth just..... sitting there. He was wearing an amusing, crisp white cap with the stereotypical red cross symbol on it, looking about as stiff and intimidating as he had always been. Except worse.
"U-Um....Thoth-sama?" Yui gaped, a drop nervously sliding down her forehead. The Egyptian was their sensei, librarian, and now nurse too? She was almost scared to approach him, with the glare he was giving them all. However, her roommate's bleeding, torn hands convinced her otherwise.
"What is it, hoodlums?" He muttered. A small book rested impatiently between two fingers, the god appearing as uninviting as physically possibly, arms crossed and one muscled leg folded over the other. Obviously he'd rather leaf through its pages than assist any of them, and seemed extremely annoyed by their very presence.
Loki didn't seem to mind as he only shoved a dangerously-glowering Luca Hardt towards him, stating with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. "This stupid here needs medical attention, sensei."
Luca scowled at the redhead and nudged herself away, her voice ice. "Fuck you." He just averted mirthful grey orbs, a sliver of pink peeking between his lips as his tongue poked out.
Eyeing the exchange with disdain, Thoth's gaze flickered from Yui and Loki to his newest, oh-so favourite pupil, who was currently trying to shield her wounds from view. "If it isn't Hardt Luca," the god said drolly. "It seems you attract trouble like a magnet, hn?" Briefly, he cast a glance towards the redheaded entity of mischief, before dropping it back on her.
"I'm fine," the raven hissed, hiding her hands through crossed, stubborn arms. "Nosy over here just can't seem to mind his own goddamn business."
Loki hummed and examined his nails.
"Your pigheadedness is about as prominent as ever, I see." Thoth rolled dark marine blues, looking fed up as he growled, "If you're not hurt, go home. I have better things to be doing with my time."
"If only that were so easy," the teen muttered, feeling bitter that he dared even bring up such a notion. Going home? That was virtually impossible, the suggestion a taunt. She couldn't go home, not to her precious alleyway in her precious slum. She was trapped here in this academia like a prisoner.
But, her fingers stung and her palms bled viciously through the cracks, and even though her willful pride would scorn her for this, Luca knew that she did need medical attention, even if she didn't want it. Swallowing her pride, the youth stuck out her hands and spat out a sigh, glancing away from the other. "Look. I just need proper bandages or something." And that was all she said, tearing away the makeshift fabric.
Thoth stared at her, a brow raised. Nonetheless he glanced down at the wounds and let out his own variant of a sigh, grasping her wrists tightly in his hands as he looked the mesh of cuts over. "That looks irresponsible," he stated, gaze stone with all the infections. The man stood briskly and walked over to the medicine cabinet, getting out gauze, disinfectant, and several other instruments. His head nodded curtly to the doctor's-style slab chair set up in one corner of the room. "Sit."
Yui glanced over at Thoth, wringing her hands like a worrisome hen. "Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked anxiously.
Luca sneered from the other side of the room in response, lip curled. "You can fucking leave, that's what you could do." She paused productively, hoisting herself up onto the slab with an athletic twist of her hips. "And you could take Heidi-braids over there with you."
