Later that Night, Resort Balcony
The party was still going strong inside the garden, but Kavin and Purvi had slipped away to the quieter balcony overlooking the twinkling lights of Lonavala. The cool night breeze played with Purvi's hair as she leaned against the railing, lost in thought.
Kavin stood a little behind her, hands in pockets, stealing glances every now and then.
Kavin (breaking the silence):Purvi... tum itni khamosh kyun ho? Aaj tumhara chehra kuch alag lag raha hai.
Purvi (smiling softly, not turning around):
Bas, thoda soch rahi thi... sab kuch itna tez chal raha hai.Ishita ab bahot ghush lag rahi thi dushyant sir ke sath.
Kavin stepped closer, the distance between them now barely a foot.
Kavin (teasing):woh tho hai ! lekin ,Tez? Matlab? Case solve karne ki speed ya kisi aur ki?
Purvi laughed quietly, finally turning to meet his eyes.
Purvi:Shayad dono.
There was a pause as they looked at each other, the unspoken feelings swirling like the cool breeze.
Kavin (whispering, nervously):Purvi, main yeh kab se soch raha hoon... ki hum dono ke beech jo hai... woh bas dosti nahi hai. Kuch zyada.
Purvi's eyes widened slightly, then softened.
Purvi (hesitant but honest):Main bhi yeh mehsoos karti hoon, Kavin. Lekin humne kabhi socha hi nahi chupane ka... ya zabaan pe lane ka.
Kavin smiled, relief and hope mixing in his gaze.
Kavin:Shayad hum dono ko bas apne dil ki sunni hai... bina zyada soche.
Then,without thinking, Kavin leaned in slightly, brushing his lips gently against Purvi's cheek , a quick, shy kiss that surprised them both. Purvi's breath hitched, and she looked up at him, cheeks flushed.
Purvi (softly):Ye... kya tha?
Kavin (grinning):Bas ek chhoti si sachai.
They both laughed quietly, the moment hanging tender and unspoken between them.
Inside, the party continued, but out here, under the stars, Kavin and Purvi had quietly taken the first step of a new beginning one that wasn't announced, but felt deeply real.
