Do you ever look back at your decisions and regret them? Regret saying something or doing a particular thing? I do.
I regretted letting Arthur be my partner. How one boy could be so infuriating, I'll never understand. Sadly, that wasn't the only regret I had. And trust me, I have many. My other regret was inviting Arthur to my house to rehearse. There was absolutely no way I was going to his house..
No matter how much I missed him, I was not ready to join Lukas in the afterlife just yet.
As I waited for Arthur to turn up, I stared into the mirror. My raven hair looked fluffy, curling under my chin. I blinked my emerald eyes and sighed. Let's hope he doesn't piss my dad off. That's all I need.
"Sarah!" Little Ellie came skipping into my room, her Cinderella dress dancing between her dainty legs. I crouched down in front of her and smiled into her chocolate hues.
"What's wrong, princess?" I asked, reaching up to push her fallen tiara back into place atop her brown hair. I was now the one who looked out for this one. I now had to watch her grow up without her big brother.
"Is your boyfriend coming round?" I visibly stiffened at her question.

FUCKING WHAT?!ELLIE.. ELLIE NO, THIS IS NOT A DISNEY MOVIE, THIS IS REAL LIFE.
I coughed into my fist and laughed nervously, "No, Ellie. He's the new lad at school and I agreed to help him." I watched my words swirl around her brain a few times before she opened her mouth.
*Ding Dong*
Thank the lord. Saved by the doorbell.
Not giving Ellie a moment to reply, I jogged downstairs with a, "I'll get it." Taking one last look on the mirror, I smoothed down my black top. Opening the door, I kept a placid expression. Arthur stood on the other side, his blonde hair pushed back revealing his forehead. His attire wasn't very different from his school uniform. His green jumper matched my eyes and he wore black denim jeans.
"Ello Sunshine!" Arthur grinned wildly, his hand raised to salute. I was about to reply when Ellie, being the little cunt she is, hopped down the stairs.
"Sarah's boyfriend is here!" GoD DAMN IT, ELLIE. I covered my face in embarrassment as Arthur's grin grew. Footsteps could be heard from the living room and I silently prayed for god to smite me down where I stood.
Please don't be dad, please don't be dad, please don't be dad.
My father stalked over and leant against the doorframe, his eyes scanning Arthur suspiciously. "So," he drawled out, "You're Sarah's boyfriend?"
FGJHVDDRTUK, FEECK.
I choked on my spit as I gaped at my father. "N-No! What the fuck, I'd rather live in a bin!" I didn't miss the little, "Ow, feelings" coming from Arthur, but I ignored him. "Dad, Arthur's the new boy I told you about."
"Ah! The boy who you wish to drown in dog poop."
"Why do I feel like your dads condoning my death?"
We both ignored him as my dad continued, "So, Romeo and Juliet, huh?" He suddenly grimaced, "You aren't going to be rehearsing the whole play, are you?" A dark blush took over my complexion as I knew just what he was insinuating. Arthur on the other hand, was having a hard time holding in his laugh.
I'm glad one of us finds this situation funny, you pile of dog shite.
"Of course n-not!" I stammered, gripping Arthur's jumper sleeve and dragging him past dad. "We're only reciting a couple lines, sweet Jesus!"
As Arthur still held in his chuckles, I dragged him into my room, only to be stopped by Ellie. "Have you kissed him yet?"
Oh my god.
My complexion became inflamed as I scooted her out, "No, and I never will!" Dear Jesus, please end me.
"Why?" She asked curiously, leaning around me to stare at the boy who looked like he was about to pass out, "Don't you love him?"
"He's not my damn boyfriend, oh my frick!" I gently pushed her out and slammed the door. I turned around, only to be greeted by Arthur's beet red expression from holding in his laughter. Sighing, I waved dismissively at him, "Go ahead, let it all out." Not a moment later, Arthur was on his knees, his breathing ragged and his azure eyes filled with tears of laughter. I stood across from him with my arms folded, my fingers drumming my arm as I waited for him to shut the fuck up.
"You done yet?" I said blandly. The boy wiped his eyes, his breathing hard as he stood up.
"My god, Sunshine. I like your family." I gritted my teeth and slapped him over the head before picking up my Romeo and Juliet book. Arthur mimicked my action and retrieved his own book from his bag. "So, my fairest Juliet. Shall we begin?" That damn stupid grin, I swear to the Easter bunny!
A knock on my door averted my attention from Arthur. Mum came in with a tray of drinks and various sandwiches. Since when the fuck have we ever had a tray?
"I've brought you some snacks, Sarah," she said sweetly. Arthur watched as my expression melted into a warm smile and an expression I couldn't recognise lit up his face. I took the tray from her and nodded.
"Thanks mum, your sandwiches are the best." Noticing her gazing at Arthur, I cleared my throat, "Mum, this is Arthur. He's relatively new." Mum stretched her palm out towards the adolescent blond.
"Call me Ester. Judging by all the ruckus earlier, I take it you've already met Andrew." Mum smiled angelically at Arthur, and he returned it almost instantly.
"Its a pleasure to meet you, Ester. Now I see where Sarah gets her pretty eyes from." My heart skipped a beat. Pretty? I stared at Arthur in shock as mum leaned in to his ear and whispered something.
I can't hear shit. Ears, do your damn job!
Pulling away, Arthur grinned, "Of course." I tilted my head at mum. What on earth did she just say? Mum smiled at me before kissing my forehead and leaving. I turned to stare at Arthur.
"What did she say?" I asked in genuine curiosity.
Arthur reached up and tapped his nose. "Its a secret," he grinned, taking a seat on my bed. A secret? A FLIPPING SECRET? There are no damn secrets in this house. I mentally strangled him as he chuckled at me. The blond teen flipped open his book to a random page and peered up at me through his black eyelashes; his azure eyes strangely alluring.
"Shall we begin, Juliet?"
