Chapter 8

Alena's P.O.V
We finally made it to Hagrid's cabin, for care of magical creatures.

He started the lesson when everyone got there. To be honest I was super excited to learn about all the cool magical creatures.

He brought out this beautiful half horse half bird thing. It was so cool, and majestic. I loved it!
He said some stuff about the creature but I didn't really pay attention, I was too busy looking at buck beak.

"Okay now who would like to come and say hello?" Hagrid asked. I just stood there kind of in a trance looking at the hippogriff. I heard shuffling behind me and I saw Harry out of the corner of my eye.

"Well done Harry, Alena, well done." He said to us.
My eyes widened and I turned around to see that everyone in the class has stepped back. Including Celina, Ron and Mione.

I turned back around to Hagrid and took a step forward. I grabbed a nervous looking Harry's hand and walked forward more. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous too. But I wasn't showing it.

"Now, you have to let him make the first move, it is only polite. So you step up, give a nice bow, then you wait and see if he bows back. If he does you can go at touch him, if not? Well we will get to that later." Hagrid told us with a smile. Harry was standing In front of me so he went first.
He stepped forward and bowed. Buckbeak kinda went crazy but calmed down. Then finally Buckbeak bowed to Harry.

"You can go at pat him now."Hagrid told him. He looked at Hagrid like he was crazy but listened to him. He walked up kinda slowly and patted him.

Hagrid started clapping "well done Harry! Well done." He said. Harry smiled still petting buck beak. "Now, Alena your turn. Harry stepped to the side. It looked to me like buck beak just know saw me. He looked me right in the eye and looked like he was searching for something.

Then I heard this male voice in my head "Alena?" The voice said.
Just with that one word I got this weird vision.

There was a little girl with golden hair and blue eyes like mine. It looked like me just younger, about 5 years old.There was a man with hair and eyes like mine, he was smiling at me, he was standing next to a beautiful woman with long black hair and green eyes. Just like Celina.

Then there was another little girl that looked just like Celina, with black hair and everything.

But who are these people. My parents don't look like this. The man came forward and I just now noticed he was wearing clothes a royal person wears in those movies with kings and queens and stuff so was everyone else including me.

He said "happy birthday, baby girl." And he kissed my forehead. He whistled and out of the forest a cute little hippogriff came out. He looked just like Buckbeak just a baby.

The hippogriff came running at me and I pet it. I was giggling and having so much fun. But wait! This is a magical creature. My parents are muggles. I am so confused. Are these my real parents? I will have to ask Dumbledore later.

Little me, got up and ran to the man
"Thank you daddy, I love him." She hugged him and the vision faded.
Daddy?

"Alena are you okay?" Hagrid asked. Breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, sorry I'm fine." I said.
I looked back at Buckbeak and nodded.
He came running at me and he nuzzled his head into my neck and I put my arms around him in a hug kinda way.

People where looking at me like I was crazy. But I didn't care. I remember him, he was one of my best friends as a child. He backed up a little and looked at me. "How did you do that Alena?" Hagrid asked.
"How old is he Hagrid? Do you know?" I asked.
"About 8, why?" He asked.
"No reason." I said smiling at him.
He smiled back still a little confused and got back into the lesson.
Well you too can ride him know.
"What!/yes!" Me and Harry said at the same time. I got on buck beak with out Hagrid's help and Hagrid put Harry behind me.

He hit buck beak on the rear and he started running. Harry's grip on my waist tightened. And we flew up into the air. Harry had his eyes closed and he was laying his forehead in my back.

We flew over the Black lake.
"Harry, you have got to see this." I said to him. He looked up and smiled. He let go of my waist and put his arms out like wings. I did the same thing. It was so much fun!

But our time came to an end when Hagrid whistled and buck beak had to head back.
When we landed. Almost everyone clapped.
"Well done Harry and Alena, and well done buck beak." Hagrid said.

We got off . "How am I doing?" He asked us. "Brilliant." We replied at the same time. With big smiles on our faces.

Them Malfoy pushed his way throw the crowd and up to buck beak.
"Yeah, not dangerous at all are you, you great ugly brute." He said
"Malfoy." Hagrid said.
But it was too late. Buckbeak reared up and hit Malfoy in the arm.
I went over and calmed Buckbeak down while Hagrid checked Malfoy.
He was rolling around on the floor.
"It's killed me, it's killed me." Malfoy said.
"Hagrid he has to be taken to the hospital." Hermione said sounding worried.
"I'm the teacher, I'll take him." Hagrid said. " I'll watch buck beak for you Hagrid." I said.
"Thank you Alena." He said with a small smile. He picked Malfoy up. Him acting so dramatic. "Your going to regret this, you bloody chicken!" Malfoy said.
"Class dismissed." Hagrid said.
Everyone started walking off. But I stayed behind, to stay with buck beak.
"You coming Alena?" Harry asked. Mione, Ron, and Celina, turned to look at me. " I am going to stay behind with buck beak till Hagrid gets back. You guys go on. Tell our next teacher where I am." I told them they nodded and walked off.

"Buck beak, you are not ugly, you are one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. Don't listen to him, he is just jealous." I told him.

I kinda hung out with buck beak until Hagrid came back, and by the time he came back it was time for lunch.

I ran all the way to the school, ready to see what the rest of the day has In store.
