**Once again, unedited**

I was working on a super cool thing that I haven't come up with a stupid and clever name for yet when I found out that Percy and Annabeth went missing.

"Wait, so you're telling me that you can't find them? What else is new..." I said, wiping the sweat off of my forehead. The heat from the machines doesn't bother me, of course, but moving around heavy objects and using heavy tools really does tire me out after a while. "Have you tried Iris messaging them, Piper?"

She nodded her head. "I'm not an idiot, Valdez. And it offends me that you take me for one."

"Do you think they're okay...?" I asked, putting down a hammer.

"Of course they're okay. They're together, and they can do anything together. Like, literally anything... They went on vacation, and they promised they'd contact me as soon as they got there. But they never did call, so I am a little worried... We contacted Nico and he's coming back here to help us out a bit. Reyna was busy so she's not coming, but we're gonna go look for them," She sighed, and brushed a piece of loose hair behind her ear. "Oh, and don't tell anyone. Calypso can come though, if she wants. But we're trying to keep this as quiet as we can."

I wondered why she said Calypso could come too. I wouldn't have an issue with her being with me, but I had no idea how Calypso would react to Percy disappearing. She seemed to have a weird connection with him, and Percy seemed to know that they had it. He'd always avoided her and she'd always avoided him. That's just how it worked for them.

"O-okay. Sure. I'll talk to her about it." I smiled, to make sure she thought it was okay.

Piper turned around, walking out of bunker nine. "We're meeting in the big house in an hour." She yelled, before disappearing into the forest.

Before I could pick up my hammer again, Calypso came out from the makeshift bedroom I had created for her here in bunker nine. I had one too, right beside hers.

"What was that about?" She said, walking towards me. She was still in her pajamas.

I kissed her cheek, and then started putting my tools back where they belonged. "Percy and Annabeth are missing." I said, trying not to look at her. I really didn't want to see her reaction.

"Oh, they are?" She said sadly. "So when are we going to go look for them? I mean, I'm sure they're fine. But I'm also sure that Chiron will want to send a search party or something." Not the reaction I was expecting, but that was good. I really hoped she wasn't just saying that to make me think things were fine between Percy and herself.

"Yeah, we're meeting in the big house in an hour. You should go get dressed. Oh- and don't mention this to anyone. We're keeping it quiet according to Piper." She smiled, and skipped back to her bedroom to get dressed.

"Gods you are adorable..." I whispered too quietly for her to hear before closing the lid on my tool box.
