CHAPTER 4: Nothing Matters

Justin went out to get some groceries, I have to admit that he has changed and he's starting to become the guy I fell in love with again. I hear his car coming in the driveway. 

"Hey Babe."

"Need some help with groceries?"

"Nah it's okay I got it. Jasmine can have I ever told you that you're the most beautiful girl I have ever known and that I...I love you."

"Okay, Justin what did you do this time?"

"Nothing. I can't love you?"

"Justin..."

"I promise, There's no trick."

We finished putting away the groceries. He went back to his car to get his cell phone. I was putting away the bags when I noticed that there was something in it...drugs. He sure knows how to kiss up. Justin came back and he noticed the drugs in front of me, he sighed.

"Justin you said you changed!"

"Jasmine, I'm sorry but I lied."

"Justin I trusted you. Was the whole change a facade?"

"Jasmine look I needed a place to stay and I had no one else to go to but you. I had no other option."

"Do you even love me?"

"Umm..."

"Just what I thought. You never loved me, the only reason you said that was because you knew that I'll give in. You knew that I would fall for you and your bullshit!"

"Jasmine don't raise your voice on me!"

"What are you gonna do? Hit me? Kill me? Go ahead because I have NOTHING to lose. Justin...I...HATE YOU!"

Justin pinned me against the wall ready to hit me but put his hand down and let me go. He looked into my eyes and realized what I just said, I had nothing to lose. Justin never looked so hurt when I said that I hate him and that if he kills me now, it wouldn't matter because nothing matters at this point. He went for a hug but I pushed him away.

"Jasmine you hate me? But we have been together since high school, how...I thought you loved me."

"Why does it even matter to you. You said it yourself, you had no other option than to go to me. I was all you had. You lied to me so I can give in. You don't love me, I thought I finally got to see the guy I fell in love with in the first place but no all I it was the same guy I left a year ago."

"Jasmine, you...wait nothing to loose? If I kill you, you'll loose me. What about your family and friends?"

"Justin what family or friends? I lost all of them because I fell in love with you. You are all I had but you treated me like nothing, so I have NOTHING to lose at this point. Not my family. Not my friends and NOT YOU!"

"You b...You're gonna be this selfish then fine! You want to be dead so bad? Your wish just came true."

Justin slapped in the the face and put a gun to my head. Last thing I remember is looking right at him. He had no soul as he pulled the trigger.
