Far from it

Chapter 1

Trees fled her sight as fast as they came into her sight. She only looked forward scared of what she would see is she looked behind. She looked at her feet moving faster than Mercury. She then dared to look back behind her and missed the root coming out of the ground. She screamed as she hit the ground face first. She looked up trying to continue on her quest but as soon as she tried to stand on her feet she feel down
"Shit!" She screamed her ankle killed her their is no way she could run even walk with this much pain.
"Shit" she said lower more at the situation as opposed to the pain.
"Need a hand milady" she looked in the direction of the heavily accented voice. To she a very handsome man with a bow on his back. His piercing blue eyes staring into her dark brown ones. His arm stretched offering a chance of getting farther away from her mother.
"Yes please" she said taking his out stretched arm hopping on one leg.
"Are you hurt?" He asked with general concern.
"Yeah I tripped and hurt my ankle pretty bad" the man switched his gaze to her leg
"Here let me look at it" he said making eye contact with her eyes once again. It was silent for a moment as she got lost in his eyes. Her hand was on his chest trying to stay up as she stretched her head to continue their gaze.
"Are you a doctor?"
" No far from it" he said with a laugh
"But I deal with these things pretty regularly." This was convincing enough for Regina what could he do to worsen the situation anyways.
"Okay"
"Here sit on this log" he said guiding her. Once she sat down he crouched in front of her taking off her shoe.
"Can you lift your skirt?" He asked clearly not wanting to over step his boundary which Regina appreciated.
"Yeah of course" she said lifting her skirt to settle on her knee.
"Can you flex your foot forward" regina did as she was told
"Eehaaa" she said clearly in pain
"Now back" he said plainly
"Mmhmmm" she said with whimper of pain
"Okay you can stop" he said taking her skirt and placing it back over her leg.
"So...." She said inquiring more
"I think it is twisted maybe sprained" he said putting her shoe back on
"I can take you to your home if you would like because you don't have much chance of traveling alone for awhile"
"Uhh I don't..." she trailed off looking at the ground putting a piece of hair behind her ear. He caught on quickly.
"Okay you can come stay with me and my marry men until you get on your feet literally and figuratively" he smirked and she laughed.
"That would be great thank you. but I think if I'm going to live with you I should know your name." she said looking at him with a smile
"Oh of course sorry I'm Robin of Lockley and you are"
"Regina" she says with a friendly smile.
