" yes!!" Roland proclaims
" as long as that's okay with dad" she says looking back at Robin realizing she probably should have asked before she offered it.
" yeah that's fine" Robin says staring at Regina with a smile. They begin to feed the fire as Robin just looks back and stares at the wonderfully perfect stranger and his son.

Once Roland begins to get fascinated on the next thing it is just Robin and Regina again. They sit there in comfortable silence until Robin breaks it.
" hey can we talk for a moment"
" yeah sure"
He stands up and she looks up at him with confusion.
" can't we talk here?"
" No I'd prefer somewhere a little more private" he says with a smile
" alright but as long as all we do is talk" she says standing up as Robin chuckles.
" can I just carry you it is far easier" Regina hesitantly agrees with a nod of a head as Robin lifts her up and leads her a little bit away from the camp far enough so no one could hear but it was still very much visible. He sets her down on a fallen log as he takes a seat next to her.
" so..." Regina says first
" well I thought you wanted to get to know each other better" he says switching his position so he is straddling the log. Regina mirrors feeling odd being the "normal one"
" well yes I thought that would come in time" she says trying to figure out how to straddle a log with a skirt. She's pulling it up so the material doesn't tear. Robin notices her struggling
" I can bring you fabric if you want to make something a little more... Suitable for the outdoors."
" that would be much appreciated" she says with a smile.
" I have been living in the wire prison for two days now and I'm already done." Regina has been used to corsets but she usually gets to take them off once she went horse back riding or went to sleep so this was awful.
" you can take it off" he says with a sincere look to which she rose an eyebrow.
" no no not like that I mean like you can just wear your dress and take off the corset. "
" yeah but the issues is that then the dress won't fit"
" okay well you can borrow one of my shirts and maybe a small pair of pants?" He says with a sincere smile
" alright I'll try it" she says with a grateful smile
" good now that that matter is out of the way tell me about yourself" he says with a bounce
" better Idea" she interjects
" how about you tell me about yourself" she says open hand point
" alright my name is Robin Hood. I have a son named Roland who is five. I'm a thief for a living. I know my way around a bow-" he gets cut off my Regina
" no no I already know this stuff go to something I don't"
" I'm getting to it hold your horses" he says with a slight laugh.
" alright so I was married for 3 years. Her name was Marian and she died when she was giving birth to Roland." He says this entire part in a deeper and more serious voice. He looked down at the log beneath him at the last sentence. Regina put her hand on his leg to offer some support to which he looked up and she offered a sad smile.
"It's alright it was five years ago but it still hurts a little. I loved her. I loved her I don't think I'll ever stop I think she'll always have a part of my heart you know?" He says looking up at Regina who now had her hand on his check cupping his face and rubbing her thumb across his check.
" yeah I do" she says getting lost in his eyes
" his name was Daniel" she says taking away her hand on his face but keeping the one on her knee.
"We were in love. But..." Tears started to form in her eyes but she tried to blink them away
" my mother.. Killed him" she said the last part quickly not wanting to show emotion.
"Regina I-"
" no no it's fine that was a.. Two years ago now" she says wiping away her tears away fast
" that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt" he says placing his hand on hers that are now on the log.Authors note
