Pinch Me?

All it took was a wink from Dan Howell and I needed his attention immediately and indefinitely.

My teeth nicked my lip. Once. Twice. Three times before it started feeling raw and my fogged up brain pushed me to stop

Even if my brain was a little, a lot, hazy, there was no way I was taking my eyes off of something so good to look at.

His eyes, his hair.

The way he would smile and laugh at the same time, biting those plush lips that should really be illegal, but the law has never really been fair. That dimple. His tall, lean body and his little, cute pierced ears that make the crappy LED school lights look top notch as they shine at everyone who sees the silver. And that dimple. Did I mention his dimple?

Dan Howell.

Yeah, that's him, and everything about him just makes me melt into a puddle of glittery girl goo. Into G.G.G, if you will. (I think I just created that XD)

Once my brain also decided I had been staring way too long for it to count as socially acceptable, I let my head hit the desk, you'll get to know that I do that a lot, groaning out in frustration, tat too, at my obvious obsession, quite unhealthy, really, with this chestnut haired, dramatic leather wearer.

I know, trust me, it's bad. But let's just get a few things straight so you don't deem me a complete psycho. First off, my "infatuation" is quite up there, you could say that it's stronger than a crush but not as strong as an obsession. Maybe.

Second off, I really shouldn't hurt myself as much as I do, because here was no way in the whole entire universe, unless it were one of those super cliche chick-lit books, that he'd like a goody two shoes as myself, though, so there goes all hope I ever had. As I said, I should really stop

Third off, I was pretty much the most innocent girl in my class this year, besides the little Asian girl that sits in the very back, which means he most likely will never notice me unless I do something stupid. Like spill lunch food all over his jacket like that one girl last year. Wonder what happened to her, actually.

My bestfriend, Jack, had told me that Dan blew up a frog in chemistry class. Mrs. Jenkins, Dan's chemistry teacher, loves frogs, so it was a big deal. I mean, that woman loves frogs. She had several sculptures of the very amphibian sitting around her classroom. Not to mention all the posters. Anyway!

Fourth off, let's head back to the real world, where I could currently hear that friend I mentioned earlier, giggling beside me, his blue eyes lighting up in obvious amusement at me lost in my thoughts, more like explaining but what does he know?

"You've got it so bad, (Name)."

"I know, Jack, I know." No need denying the truth now, since I can't exactly act like a different person now that I've told you all about it, right?

I brought my head up and rested it in the palm of my hand, my eyes tracing Dan's perfect form for the nth time today, taking in every single feature of his that I had already memorized and stored in my long-term memory.

Look, I can't stop, I've tried, he is just so extraordinary to look at, like Mona Lisa, but with a smile. A dazzling smile.

My face lit up like a strontium firework, Google it, when he caught my stare, the corners of his lips turning up into a little cheeky smirk that I'd seen about a million times, but never at me. While I was dying, I didn't fail to notice that one of his chocolate eyes closed quickly and then he turned back to his friends before I could do anything such as blink, and try to breathe.

Was that a wink...?

Did he just wink?

Did Dan freaking Howell just wink at me?!

My brain, ah, little fellow, wasn't exactly in its best position when I sprang my arm out to Jack, startling him, and a little myself.

"Pinch me!"

His eyebrows rose and he looked at me like I was mental, which I won't argue about if brought up in the near future, but I needed to know if that actually just happened, so Jack needed to hurry up and pinch my freaking arm before my ovaries explode! Not really likely, but it's fangirl talk.

"Pinch me!" I said it louder this time, making some people stare at us in the classroom and if I knew one thing about my best friend, it was that Jack hated public attention. Especially at school.

Am afraid look passed across his face and he hurriedly pinched my arm, eyes wide as saucers, and the burn of a sting filled my senses as his finger made contact with my forearm. This was real. This...was actually real.

Dan Howell had just winked at me. Oh God.

...

......

Someone be my savior. I'll pay you.

(I'm rewriting every chapter, so enjoy the new writing style! It's not really all that different, but I hate cringing when I look back at the earlier chapters to this book so I finally decided to edit it. Anyway, hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading and if you really liked it, don't be afraid to comment your opinion!
