♡chapter three♡

*three weeks later*

things between me and jack have been better than ever before. ever since what happened in my living room we've been so much closer. not as close as I would like us to be, but close. we would cuddle when we're all watching movies, he would hold my hand when we all go out to the mall, he would place his hand on my thigh when we're sat at dinner, but he never did what I wanted him to do most, he never did what almost happened in my living room, he never kissed me. but apart from that we acted like we were in a relationship, the guys realised this too. sammy would always smirk and often make snide comments. nate would just chuckle and join in with sam's teasing. but johnson was chilled about the situation, staying out of our business and not creating a scene, for this I was grateful for one of my friends not trying to make the situation between me and gilinsky awkward.

me and g were curled up in his bed watching The Breakfast Club, he had his arm wrapped protectively around my waist and my head was resting on his chest, he often pressed his lips against the top of my head, or played with the ends of my blonde hair, I had my arm draped over his stomach and I honestly couldn't be happier. I felt my eyes starting to grow heavy but before I could drift off to sleep, johnson burst through the door looking flustered.

"bro guess what!" johnson exclaimed waking me and jack.

"what? what's going on?" g asked obviously annoyed johnson interrupted us.

"yo I just got an email from the boss of digi and he wants us to go and perform. we'll be there for a month."

"man that's awesome!" jack says sitting up now, causing me to completely get off of him and sit up next to him. "who else will be there?" he asked.

"nash and hayes, matt, the dolan twins, andrea russet, sammy and skate, madison beer, Kenny and wes, jack dail, mahogany, and so many more bro I don't even remember."

"did you say yes?" jack says getting more excited.

"duh" j answers, "we leave tomorrow night, I was meant to get the email about two weeks ago but somehow I only just got it."

"well we better get packing!" gilinsky says and I take that as a hint for me to leave. I stand up and say goodbye to the two jacks, giving them both a hug and wishing them good luck for the tour. I make my way out of the bedroom and head for the door grabbing my purse and putting on my converse. I step out of the door and I suddenly feel a hand grab my elbow and pull me back, I turn around and see jack looking down at me. he pulled he into a tight hug and I wrap my hands tightly around his waist breathing in his scent.

"i'm gonna miss you baby" he mutters against my hair.

"i'm gonna miss you more jack, but think how much fun you're gonna have. it's only a month and I know how much you love to perform." I say and smile weakly, trying to be as positive as possible.

"i'll keep in touch with you kay, i'll text you every single day baby." he says searching my eyes for any sign of sadness.

"i know jack, but it'll be such an amazing time and I know you'll be busy a lot of the time so don't worry if you cant text me every night. just don't forget about me with all of them hot girls surrounding you." I tease.

"never, god you're beautiful" he breaths. before I can reply he pressed his lips against mine, and my heart fluttered. but before I got a chance to react and pull him closer, the kiss was over within a few seconds.

"goodbye Kaydence" he says, and with that, the door closed softly.

sorry this chapter is so short it's kind of a filler but is also really important because this is where the story really starts to develop.
